I purchased this product with my own money! My skin is combination type with severe redness and visible pores. Here are my four criteria for choosing skincare products: 1. Calming redness 2. Providing hydration (for deep dryness) 3. Improving skin texture and pores 4. Controlling excess oil (to prevent blemishes) In winter, after cleansing, I apply 3-4 drops to my palms without drying my face. I warm it up with my body heat and pat it into my skin before starting my regular skincare routine. This helps prevent tightness even under heating. I switched from a smaller size to a larger bottle and now use it on my body right after showering too. Mixing this with the same brand's Azulene Soothe Gel (2:0.5 ratio with jojoba oil) creates a runny texture. You can leave it on for 15 minutes like a mask, or I let it dry as much as possible, then scrape it off with a spatula and rinse with water, like a wash-off pack. Estheticians say this balances skin's oil and moisture, reducing texture. I use it in the morning before important days or when I need my base makeup to look flawless. Adjust the ratio based on your skin type. When my skin is a mess before my period, I use a modeling mask followed by a generous layer of this mixture - while it doesn't affect my naturally large pores, it really improves my skin's texture, redness, and tiny bumps. They usually give samples of either the Soothe Gel or jojoba oil when you buy one - try mixing them instead of using them separately! Overall Review [Will repurchase: Yes] 1. Calming redness: It does calm, but can be too oily outside of winter. Rating: 2/4 2. Providing hydration (for deep dryness): Take 3-4 drops in your hands, warm it up by rubbing your palms together, then press it onto your damp face after cleansing before continuing your skincare routine. This could solve even the driest skin's deep hydration issues! To be honest, it's more about providing oil than hydration. Rating: 4/4 3. Improving skin texture and pores: When used with the Soothe Gel, it can improve texture, but I'm not sure about pores. Rating: 2/4 4. Controlling excess oil (to prevent blemishes): It's fine if you apply it to damp skin after cleansing and then continue with your skincare routine. Rating: 3/4 It keeps leaking... I try to use it as neatly as possible, but whether it's because of the glass bottle or its large size, or maybe because my bathroom is dry, I always find it pooled on the surface. I have to clean it regularly. It might feel heavy if used alone, so try using it on damp skin or mix it with the Soothe Gel for best results. - jk*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2025
It's great for dry and acne-prone skin, especially during winter. In summer, it's best to avoid using it as it may cause more blemishes to appear. It works wonderfully if you use just the right amount based on the outside temperature. - qk*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 23, 2025
I have super sensitive skin. Even products with good ingredients irritate my troublesome skin. Even gentle organic products that others rave about didn't stop my skin from acting up. But after getting this jojoba oil recommended during a waxing session, my skin finally feels at ease. I don't mix it with cream - instead, I apply toner twice, use the jojoba oil as a serum, and then follow with cream. This routine seems to be less irritating for my skin. Give this method a try! There aren't really any downsides. My skin was originally quite red and dry, so I'll need to keep up with care, but I'll definitely repurchase this when I run out. It's great for moisturizing sensitive areas. While other jojoba oils didn't work for me, I'd highly recommend this one. It's well-suited for extremely sensitive skin. There may be an adjustment period, as improvements won't happen overnight. Apply toner twice, then use jojoba oil instead of other serums, gently pressing about two drops onto the skin. Follow with cream. The hydration lasts longer this way. When I mixed it with cream, my skin quickly felt dry, so I focus on using it at the serum step. Try this routine for yourself! - le******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 6, 2024
Since it's 100% jojoba oil, you can apply it comfortably to your skin without any harmful ingredients. It's a versatile oil that can be used in many ways! The price is on the higher side, and since I have combination dehydrated skin, applying too much might make my skin look greasy or cause blemishes! Mix with cream for application Apply to scalp and massage before shampooing Apply to elbows and heels Mix with foundation for application - ee****Dry SkinRecommendedOct 3, 2024
It works wonderfully when used with a cream! All the dead skin cells disappear, and it's absolutely fantastic when mixed with other Sante products. The price is quite steep... It's a bit too expensive to use on its own. - o7*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 24, 2024
As someone with extremely dry skin, this was a real lifesaver during winter! I mix it with my cream and mist - it's absolutely top-notch for hydration! For those with oily skin, I'd recommend using just a tiny amount or perhaps avoiding it altogether. - mm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 6, 2024
It's great to use before bed or when your skin feels dry! Unlike other oils I've used, this one doesn't leave a greasy feeling or fail to absorb. I've been using it for facial massages, and it's been gentle and suitable for my skin. I've really enjoyed using it! For my skin, using it daily was a bit too much, so I scaled back to about 3 times a week. My skin seemed to absorb it so well that it felt a bit too rich, so I had to adjust the frequency of use. Highly recommended for facial massages or when you're dealing with severe dead skin cells and flaking! - 01********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 5, 2024
Unless you have extremely dry skin, this product might be too heavy to apply all over your face. It's best to mix it with your regular moisturizer or apply small amounts to particularly dry areas. I received this as a gift, and while it's effective, I probably wouldn't purchase it myself due to the price and my skin's natural oil balance. However, I can see this product being quite polarizing depending on skin type. I've been using a small amount mixed with my night cream before bed, and I'm fairly satisfied with the results. Those with oily skin should be cautious about using too much, as it may lead to blemishes. Rather than applying it all over your face, try mixing a small amount with your regular products or use it as a spot treatment on problem areas. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 21, 2024
This is my holy grail oil! I'm currently on my fourth bottle, which shows how satisfied I am. (I don't use it during summer though!) The price is a bit steep... And the glass container is quite heavy. I wish they could make the packaging lighter. In winter, I use it both morning and night. When applied lightly in the morning, it doesn't cause any pilling with makeup! - ho********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 5, 2023
It seems to be quite moisturizing and hydrating. The absorption is also pretty good. Using this caused blemishes... It irritated my sebaceous glands and spread across my whole face. I'm in recovery mode now... Please be really careful when using oils.
