Quick summary: For dry skin in spring, fall, and winter, apply generously as night care. Wake up with baby-soft skin the next day! My skin type: Dry (lacking moisture, adequate oil) Occasional blemishes, one or two before menstruation Deep dryness, but not visible on the surface Application: A cream that smooths the skin surface and spreads easily Rich texture that adheres well without feeling greasy Absorption: Due to its density, it doesn't absorb instantly Feels like it's filling in wrinkles, leaving skin fresh and soft The pleasant sensation makes you want to keep massaging it in Other praise-worthy points: • Perfect when you feel you need extra hydration and nourishment after your basic skincare routine • Better for night care than pre-makeup. Apply generously as the last step of your nighttime routine for plump, hydrated skin in the morning • Known to be good for the skin barrier. I panic-bought it when my skin was acting up, and it was gentle and helped with barrier recovery • Great value for money. My wallet approves! The container is so heavy it might break your toe if you drop it Visually, I didn't notice any improvement in pores or sebum For your nighttime routine, apply a generous amount and sleep well! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2024
It has such a rich, creamy texture that when I apply it after a sheet mask and sleep, my skin feels incredibly smooth and radiant the next morning The consistency is thick, which deeply hydrates the skin. You really need to apply it, otherwise your skin might feel dehydrated It's great to apply a layer of this after a sheet mask when your skin is super hydrated, as it helps lock in the moisture while you sleep! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 25, 2024
Great value for money! Among ceramide creams, this one's perfect for generous application. Despite its rich texture, it doesn't leave much residue, which is fantastic. Its strength lies in being decent, but don't expect anything extraordinary. Recommended if you're looking for a cost-effective option. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 5, 2023
I have slightly sensitive and dry skin. This cream contains ceramides, giving it a somewhat rich texture, but it's not as heavy as I expected. It applies well, and gently patting it into the skin helps with absorption. At first, it feels like it's creating a moisturizing barrier that might be a bit greasy, but once absorbed, it provides excellent hydration. While it's not a super watery moisturizer that gives an intense burst of hydration, it works great when layered over a serum/essence-emulsion or after a sheet mask, helping to lock in moisture for longer. The scent is unobtrusive, almost fragrance-free. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but I think it might feel a bit heavy during summer. It doesn't seem to absorb very quickly. If you ensure proper hydration in the steps before applying this cream, its moisturizing properties really shine. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 25, 2023
I didn't expect much due to the low price, but it turned out to be a hidden gem! It's moisturizing and rich in texture without causing any blemishes. In winter, it's great to apply a controlled amount before makeup - works like a charm! The hydration doesn't last very long. It's neither exceptionally good nor bad - just an average, safe choice. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 17, 2022
It's truly rich and creamy. I used it in an extremely dry environment, and my skin didn't feel parched the next day. For combination dehydrated skin, it's only usable in winter. It's absolutely not suitable for warmer seasons. This is a moisturizer for winter hydration. It's great to apply a thick layer like a sleeping mask before bed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2021
I received a few sample sheets when I purchased some color cosmetics from Holika Holika and gave them a try. The texture is slightly thick and has a rich, creamy feel. It's a cream that gives a sense of abundant nourishment. It has great absorption, spreading smoothly and evenly on the skin. I was surprised that despite its rich texture, it absorbs relatively quickly. After absorption, it leaves the skin feeling moisturized with a slight richness. Its excellent hydrating power makes it seem ideal for winter use. As someone with skin that leans towards oily, I dislike products that feel heavy or clog pores, and this one contains three such ingredients. While I'm not particularly sensitive to stearic acid, I generally try to avoid coconut oil and shea butter in skincare products, both of which are present here. So, this product wasn't very appealing to me. However, I think those with normal to dry skin might find it satisfactory. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 8, 2021
This cream has a rich texture when applied. My U-zone was getting super dry, causing my makeup to look patchy and awful, so I bought this. The cream feels substantial, giving me a long-lasting sense of hydration. I've been using it for over two weeks, but haven't seen any noticeable effects yet. My cheeks are still dry. However, it hasn't caused any blemishes, so I'm planning to continue using it consistently for a while longer. Rather than applying a large amount at once, it's more moisturizing to apply thin layers multiple times. Instead of patting vigorously, gently press it into your skin to absorb. This method helps the hydration last longer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinNov 15, 2021
I've been using Dr. Jart's Ceramidin line, but the price was becoming a burden. So I decided to try this Holika Holika cream that's often recommended as a budget-friendly alternative. I'm pleasantly surprised - it's much richer in texture and works really well! I was hoping for a bit more of a rich feel, but it seems to focus more on hydration than oil. Since winter calls for some extra nourishment, I've been pairing it with another oil essence I had, and that combination works great. The texture is somewhere between a cream and a balm. I find it absorbs best when I spread it over my face like sunscreen and then gently pat it in - this really helps it sink into the skin. I'm glad to have found a product that can combat winter dryness, which even oily skin types can't escape! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 27, 2021
It's quite rich, so it seems to moisturize well... I'm breaking out a lot... Is it because of summer? I'll keep it and try it again in winter.
