- 1. Staying power Applied in the morning, it lasts until evening. - 2. Color When I wore this to my grandmother's house, she asked if I'd eaten a mouse - that's how intensely red yet beautiful it is. - 3. Scent Almost fragrance-free, with just a hint of sweetness. - 4. Application It applies in a choppy manner and feels slightly drying. - 5. Hydration Almost none. Wearing it alone might emphasize dead skin cells. = Overall assessment: While I won't repurchase, it's suitable as an accent color over a base when you're in the mood for a red lip. Recommended as a point color over a base, not alone. TIP: When applying alone, be sure to use a thin layer of lip balm or petroleum jelly first, otherwise it will severely emphasize lip flakiness. - ji**********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 8, 2024
In my opinion, this lip tint is perfect for winter use! I didn't notice any particular drawbacks while using this product. - in**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2024
The vibrant red shade is a stunning color that seems to suit everyone! Since the pigmentation is quite intense, it's best to apply it in small amounts. This product seemed to transfer quite a bit. I'm not a fan of products that smudge easily, so I found myself reaching for it less often. - pr*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 24, 2023
I love layering my lip color with a deep undertone. My ideal shade isn't too warm or cool, not too vibrant or pale. While I'm not a fan of muted tones, I absolutely adore those ambiguous, in-between colors that complement my fair complexion with a deep undertone. Quick review: This is currently one of my favorite tints. The packaging gets a thumbs up, and durability seems fine compared to other 'Angcom Mood' products. If you really try, you might catch a faint scent reminiscent of antibacterial origami paper from childhood, but it's not bothersome or unpleasant - I'm pretty neutral about it. Described as a 'deep undertone light color', it's deeper and more vibrant than 'Simjang Pokgyeok' but not too pale or dull. I love how versatile it is - you can achieve different looks by applying it thinly for everyday wear or more intensely for a statement lip. I don't experience any dryness or dead skin cells with this. When it fades, it does so evenly without patchiness. Many reviewers mention that the staying power isn't great when applied hastily without a mirror. - sh*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 27, 2023
The mousse texture seems perfect for winter. I also love the case design! Personally, I find it emphasizes lip wrinkles and the color is more of a tomato red. - hs******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 17, 2022
This is a great red for warm skin tones. It leans more towards a strong shade rather than a bright one. As someone with a deep undertone, I found it a bit intense for my complexion. I've had success using it sparingly, applying a thin gradient just on the inner part of my lips over a different base color. If you're expecting an extremely clear red, you might be disappointed. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2022
I loved that the color matched well with my deep undertone! It felt moisturizing at first, then became pleasantly matte, which I really enjoyed. The downside is that too much product comes out at the opening. Also, I'm not sure if it's just me, but my lips kept swelling after using this tint. Still, I keep using it because it's so pretty... despite the discomfort. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2022
Shade: deep undertone Price: $10,000 Why I tried it: I received it as a birthday gift and absolutely fell in love with this product! Review: I generally prefer matte textures and vibrant colors. While full application can make the lips appear slightly floaty, it's perfect for creating a gradient look. I've been using it frequently as my go-to lip color for everyday wear. The mousse texture feels a bit thick and can clump slightly. It's also disappointing that it tends to transfer onto masks. - ka*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 2, 2022
While I'm not certain of my exact personal color, I suspect I have a deep undertone with light skin. I have a bright #21 complexion. Rather than being strongly warm or cool-toned, I look best in highly saturated, medium-brightness colors. If you have a deep undertone and love saturated colors, this is a must-have! As someone who adores collecting lip products, I can confidently say this is perfect for those with a deep undertone and light skin. My lips are quite thick with very little natural pigment, so most colors show up true to the tube. The moment I saw this product, I knew it would be a guaranteed success for me. Lately, there's been a trend towards muted, lighter lip colors, which I've found a bit disappointing. This product perfectly satisfies my craving for vibrant shades. The color is nearly red, but with a few drops of orange mixed in. It reminds me of Shu Uemura's Gangnam Orange that I used to wear. While I enjoyed that one too, Shu Uemura lipsticks tend to transfer excessively. This product, on the other hand, only transfers slightly at first and then stays put much better. It's also much more affordable! I usually don't suit dark colors well, and even shades that don't look dark can sometimes appear too deep on my lips. However, this one is perfectly vibrant and flattering. Funnily enough, the color swatched on a tissue seems to be the most accurate representation of the shade. The pigmentation is excellent - you can achieve full coverage with just a light application. The color can vary slightly depending on how you apply it. A lighter application brings out more of the orange tones, while a heavier application emphasizes the red. Regarding the texture, it may accentuate dry, flaky skin if your lips aren't well-exfoliated. Also, this product doesn't blend easily with other lip products unless they're from the same line. It has a mousse-like texture that's quite thick, so it wouldn't pair well with glossy lip products. It might mix a bit better with matte formulas, though. I have full lips, so I didn't struggle with application. However, if you have thinner lips, you might find it challenging to control. In that case, you may want to dab some product on the edge of your lips first before applying. Expect a typical sticky mousse texture - it's different from a velvet finish! For a beautiful application, apply a matte base lip color just around the very outer edges of your lips, then gently dab and blend this product inwards. - ck******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2022
Best value for money! I bought it because it was affordable, and I'm impressed. The color is beautiful, and the pigmentation is incredible. The staying power is pretty decent too. The color payoff is so intense that it can be challenging to control. Since I prefer a lighter makeup look for work, the vibrant red can be a bit overwhelming. I end up just dabbing it on and blending with my fingers. Still, when I'm in a rush, nothing beats this!
