As someone who loves citrus and herbal scents, I found this fragrance absolutely delightful! True to Penhaligon's reputation, the scent is simply exquisite. The lingering aroma lasts longer than expected. It applies smoothly, absorbs well, and doesn't leave any sticky residue! Given that fragrance is the main focus of this product, it's not exceptionally hydrating. After some time, the skin tends to feel a bit dry again. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 9, 2020
1. Exceptional longevity The staying power is absolutely incredible. While Penhaligon's products generally have good longevity, this body emulsion is particularly impressive. When I apply it all over and go out, the Blenheim Bouquet fragrance lingers on my skin all day long. 2. Captivating scent While it might be a polarizing fragrance, I personally love it. It's a citrusy scent that gives a clean, fresh feeling. Fragrance preferences are subjective, but I find this one leans more masculine. Upon initial application, there's an explosion of citrus notes. The lingering scent is a delightful blend of fresh aromatics and a soapy undertone, creating a masculine yet alluring aroma. It's equally appealing when worn by women, giving a sense of sophistication and coolness. 1. Packaging concerns Considering the premium price, it seems they didn't pay much attention to the bottle design. Be especially careful when pumping - the dispenser is quite powerful, and the emulsion might spray in all directions if you're not cautious. 2. Limited moisturizing properties The hydration isn't particularly impressive. It's better to think of this as a scented body product rather than a moisturizing emulsion. While it didn't cause any blemishes or skin issues, don't expect significant skincare benefits. That's why I always use more functional emulsions like Cetaphil or Physiogel on my lower body, reserving Blenheim Bouquet for exposed areas like my arms. If you're looking for deep hydration, I'd recommend trying Penhaligon's dedicated cream line instead. This makes for a lovely gift. Occasionally, Penhaligon's has incredible sales where you can snag this for under $20.
