As someone who loves citrus and herbal scents, I found this fragrance absolutely delightful! True to Penhaligon's reputation, the scent is simply exquisite. The lingering aroma lasts longer than expected. It applies smoothly, absorbs well, and doesn't leave any sticky residue! Given that fragrance is the main focus of this product, it's not exceptionally hydrating. After some time, the skin tends to feel a bit dry again. - 9h********Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 3, 2023
The fragrance is absolutely delightful. You won't need perfume, and the scent becomes even softer once it's absorbed into your skin, compared to how it smells in the bottle. It's a charming aroma that helps relieve stress when applied. The texture isn't too thick, so it absorbs well. The lightweight formula allows for multiple applications without feeling heavy. As expected from a luxury brand, it comes with a higher price tag. The hydration power isn't exceptionally outstanding. For a longer-lasting scent, try applying it to your shoulders or underarms in addition to exposed areas. - dm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2023
The scent is absolutely delightful! It's a refreshing citrus aroma with a hint of cool, soothing notes reminiscent of a medicated patch. It's truly a mood-lifting fragrance. The hydration level is just right, and it absorbs well into the skin quite quickly! The price point is on the higher side, unfortunately. Also, its moisturizing power might be a bit too light for winter use. You can boost the hydration by mixing it with an unscented oil for extra moisture. - 2j*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 4, 2021
The fragrance is delightful and long-lasting, without any sticky feeling. I received it as a hotel amenity, and the scent is truly luxurious. I'm definitely considering purchasing it. The ingredients are a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if they're particularly beneficial. It's also quite difficult to find places to buy it. - tn*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 24, 2020
I tried this body emulsion as a complimentary amenity during my hotel staycation. The hydration is great, but the fragrance is a bit overpowering. I wish the scent was a bit more subtle. I probably won't be purchasing this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 9, 2020
1. Exceptional longevity The staying power is absolutely incredible. While Penhaligon's products generally have good longevity, this body emulsion is particularly impressive. When I apply it all over and go out, the Blenheim Bouquet fragrance lingers on my skin all day long. 2. Captivating scent While it might be a polarizing fragrance, I personally love it. It's a citrusy scent that gives a clean, fresh feeling. Fragrance preferences are subjective, but I find this one leans more masculine. Upon initial application, there's an explosion of citrus notes. The lingering scent is a delightful blend of fresh aromatics and a soapy undertone, creating a masculine yet alluring aroma. It's equally appealing when worn by women, giving a sense of sophistication and coolness. 1. Packaging concerns Considering the premium price, it seems they didn't pay much attention to the bottle design. Be especially careful when pumping - the dispenser is quite powerful, and the emulsion might spray in all directions if you're not cautious. 2. Limited moisturizing properties The hydration isn't particularly impressive. It's better to think of this as a scented body product rather than a moisturizing emulsion. While it didn't cause any blemishes or skin issues, don't expect significant skincare benefits. That's why I always use more functional emulsions like Cetaphil or Physiogel on my lower body, reserving Blenheim Bouquet for exposed areas like my arms. If you're looking for deep hydration, I'd recommend trying Penhaligon's dedicated cream line instead. This makes for a lovely gift. Occasionally, Penhaligon's has incredible sales where you can snag this for under $20.
