ConsThe included puff doesn't work well for me, so I end up using a different applicator
TipFor better coverage, I found it best to apply multiple thin layers! It worked great when I used it with the Peripera Cover-Up Puff

Ingredients: 4/5 First off, cushion foundations generally don't have the best ingredients... But among them, this one has the most decent formulation, which is why I chose it! 2. Blemishes: 3/5 I was surprised to see quite a few potential allergens, and my skin is super sensitive. However, I didn't experience any notable blemishes after using this cushion. 3. Packaging: 5/5 Above all, I love that it's a pump-type, which is why I keep repurchasing it. Hygiene is incredibly important, and unlike typical cushions with built-in sponges, this pump design allows you to keep the product inside clean by just wiping the exterior. 4. Brightening: 3/5 It gives a nice brightening effect to dull complexions. The 'Bright' tone is really, really... bright, but the 'Neutral' tone seems to be just right for me.
Cons1. Included Puff The puff that comes with it... It just soaks up too much product and doesn't suit me. I'm using M brand's bouncy puff instead. 2. Longevity Hmm... As someone with combination dehydrated skin, when oil comes through, it gets shiny... If I use drying base products, it can look flaky or crack. Still, it lasts about 4-5 hours. 3. Coverage If you're looking for a high-coverage product, this is definitely not it. It's better to use this just for its brightening effect.

So I switched to this one with gentler ingredients. Since then, I haven't had any breakouts and I'm incredibly satisfied!
ConsThe puff is absolutely terrible... You definitely need to buy a different puff separately to use with this.

ConsHowever, it doesn't completely conceal red blemishes, and the built-in puff applicator could be better.

It made controlling the amount easy, and maintaining the puff was a breeze. In winter, it provided sufficient matte finish when used with sunscreen. While it's inevitable that staying power decreases and it transfers to masks in summer, I think it's a decent semi-matte option for all seasons except peak summer. The ingredients are skin-friendly, and it didn't cause any blemishes due to its non-clogging formula. For touch-ups, I just blot with a blotting paper first. I'm using it well. I tried a sample by chance, liked it, and bought the full size. I plan to repurchase.
ConsThe quality of the puff is a bit disappointing. Although I replace it frequently, it seems to absorb a lot of the cushion product. I wish it was a bit more matte for summer use, but I wonder if that would compromise the good ingredients. While I'm satisfied as I don't need perfect coverage, it doesn't fully conceal darker blemishes.
TipI highly recommend this, except for use during peak summer.

Initially, I was disappointed - as a shade 22 with yellow undertones, it looked too pink on my hand swatch, so I almost put it up for sale. Surprisingly, a few months later, I tried it again and wow, it's actually great! Not sure why, but despite the color mismatch (which usually makes products unusable for me), I'm loving it now. Apart from the shade, it's flawless: - Slightly covers uneven texture - Semi-matte finish that doesn't dry out skin even in winter - After struggling with this, I bought a Tony Moly illuminating cushion, but that was a total letdown. Oh, the regret... - Once applied, the pink undertone isn't overwhelming, suitable for cool-toned shade 22 - Best of all, it makes my skin texture look amazing - This is both a pro and con: initially, I liked the pump mechanism for hygiene reasons, but now I'm a bit uneasy about product getting pushed back in with each use In conclusion, the product quality is top-notch!
ConsIt's relatively pricey and doesn't come with a refill. The packaging isn't particularly attractive. Can't check how much product is left, which is a no-go. Doesn't sell well second-hand (laughs)... though selling used cosmetics is probably not the best idea. Many complain about the puff, but I don't really notice. It feels a bit thick and can look cakey.
TipHmm... I've seen lots of useful tips in other reviews. Apparently, this cushion pairs well with their sunscreen. Sorry for the repetition!

Plus, it doesn't irritate my skin, which is great.
ConsAs others have mentioned, using the included puff applicator can really strain your wrist.

While you might opt for a more hydrating, glowy product with plenty of moisture in winter, this seems perfect for summer. It should work especially well for oily or normal skin types (my mom, who has normal skin, tested it and found it wasn't bad even in drier seasons). Value for money - Considering potential sales, this cushion has relatively good ingredients for its price range. While not every ingredient is perfect, when you factor in the cost, it seems quite worthwhile among semi-matte cushions in many aspects. Packaging - I really dislike sponge cushions due to hygiene concerns, but this feels more like a foundation where you can dispense and use just the amount you need. That's a huge plus in my opinion.
ConsToo dry for dry or very dry skin. Due to its matte finish, if your skin isn't smooth and well-hydrated, you might experience flaking. Daily use could lead to blemishes. As someone with dry, sensitive skin, I'm hesitant to use it when my skin isn't in top condition, and I wouldn't recommend it as an everyday product for similar skin types. The puff is practically unusable - it has terrible application. You absolutely need to buy a separate puff. The texture isn't particularly smooth. While some matte products have a fine texture, this one doesn't. Unless you mix it with something else, it could emphasize dead skin cells and uneven texture, especially for very dry skin or skin with lots of flaking or blemishes. If you're sensitive to fragrances or certain ingredients, this might be challenging - the scent is very strong. Personally, I'd prefer to find a product with less darkening, better staying power, and better application, even if it costs a bit more. I won't be repurchasing.
TipBecause of the matte finish, those with dry or very dry skin should definitely prep their skin thoroughly before use. If your skincare is too light, you might experience flaking. For dry skin, rather than using it alone, try mixing it with a cream or a BB cream with more moisture to reduce the chance of it looking patchy. The color initially appears quite light, so even though I don't have particularly dark skin, I found that a shade lighter than this would be tricky to use (except when it darkens). Unless you want to apply makeup all the way down to your neck, I wouldn't recommend anything lighter than neutral unless you have very fair skin.

It gives a subtle, radiant finish that's so natural-looking. Even when it fades, it does so gracefully without being noticeable. I'm on my 4th compact now! Color match There aren't many products with shade 22, but it's perfect for those of us who are neither very fair nor dark! It matches my skin tone exactly, so I don't need to blend it down my neck. That's such a relief! Ingredients The ingredients are really gentle! I feel confident using it. I've noticed fewer blemishes since I started using this product. Scent The scent might be divisive, but I love it! It has a lovely rose water fragrance that puts me in a good mood while applying. However, if you're sensitive to scents, I'd recommend testing it first before purchasing. Value for money Honestly, it's incredibly affordable for a cushion foundation! And with such skin-friendly ingredients too! It's perfect for students on a budget.
ConsPuff As other reviews have mentioned, the puff is subpar. I toss it out immediately after purchase. Laneige, I'd forgive a $3 price increase if you'd just upgrade the puff! Application The foundation comes out in a circular shape from the holes, which transfers to the puff. If you're not careful when blending, you might end up with little circular marks on your face! I think this issue could be resolved if the formula was slightly more moisturizing.
TipTry Daiso puffs Daiso puffs work best with this, even better than Olive Young ones! I bought the Disney design puff and it looks adorable with this compact! Gentle patting, not tapping As mentioned, circular marks can appear on your face. Instead of tapping, try gently patting and blending the product. Otherwise, you might end up with foundation dots on your forehead that'll surprise you when you look in the mirror later!
