The spray comes out in a fine, misty cloud... It's so easy to control the amount as you apply it. The bottle size isn't too big, making it convenient to carry around. Even when applied in layers before and after makeup, it still inevitably transfers onto masks. However, these days when we're not wearing masks as often, it seems sufficient to use as a setting spray. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinSep 28, 2022
Healthy ingredients for a setting spray. Unlike other setting sprays, it doesn't feel suffocating or like it's forming a heavy layer. Great product for dry seasons! Excellent makeup setting power and longevity. Love the fine mist spray. Will definitely repurchase. The setting power and longevity might decrease in midsummer, and it could be a bit heavy for those with dry skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 31, 2022
The luxurious case and the fine mist spray are fantastic. It's not too heavy and adheres gently to the skin, preventing makeup from caking while slightly improving its longevity. The scent is pleasant, and even though it's a makeup fixer, I trust and use this product because of its good ingredients. The case is a bit bulky, making it difficult to carry around daily or take on trips. Apply a light, multiple-layer mist after makeup application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 6, 2022
When sprayed after makeup, it creates a satin-like glow, as if your skin is coated, preventing messy breakdown. The signature Dalba fragrance is lovely, and the mist spray feels gentle. Not only for finishing makeup, but you can also spritz it right before patting in your products, then apply your base, and finish with another spray to really lock everything in place. Since it's not aerosol, you can take it on planes too! The fixing power isn't particularly strong, so it's best to think of it as a light mist with some fixing properties. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2022
As someone with extremely dry skin, I often avoid fixers. But after using the Dew Barrier Mist, I decided to try their fixer too! The fine mist spray is perfect for setting makeup. It's not drying at all - think of it as a hydrating fixer mist that leaves your skin feeling moisturized. Since this is marketed as a hydrating mist for dry skin, those with oily skin might not enjoy it as much. It's so moisturizing that you could even use it as a regular facial mist! I use this to set my makeup and also spray it on my makeup sponge before applying foundation. It helps the foundation adhere to my skin beautifully! The refreshing fruity scent is lovely too. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 7, 2021
The staying power is pretty decent, and the mist-like spray feels light and comfortable when applied. It might not work well for those who use liquid makeup like foundation or cushions. The dewy feeling disappears, and it can make your makeup look cakey, like a sugar-coated fruit. However, for those who prefer powder-based makeup, it helps maintain a beautiful finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 30, 2020
The Hwahae Testers review: 1. Skin type: I have combination skin with dry cheeks and mouth area, while my forehead and nose tend towards oily but dehydrated. 2. Spray performance: It mists evenly, but the spray area is a bit narrow. 4. Finish: It definitely leaves a glowy finish, so it's great for those who love a dewy skin look! 5. Longevity: I didn't notice exceptional staying power. 1. Scent: The fragrance might be divisive. Personally, I found the rose scent unpleasant. It has a strong cosmetic smell when you first spray it. It would work well if sprayed both before and after makeup application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinNov 30, 2020
As one of The Hwahae Testers, I'd like to share my thoughts. When winter comes, I usually struggle with dry skin. I really liked how this product sprays on with a moisturizing feel. The mist is so fine that even if you spray it carelessly, it doesn't over-apply. Compared to not using a fixer, it definitely seemed to improve the longevity of my makeup and prevent it from looking cakey. The size is perfect - it fits comfortably in one hand. As for the scent, it has that typical cosmetic fragrance! The price seems a bit high for the amount you get. To be honest, I didn't feel like it was anything extraordinarily special that would make me rush out to buy it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 30, 2020
I've been using d'Alba's White Truffle mist and have already gone through two bottles. I'm definitely repurchasing as it's an incredibly satisfying mist from a brand I really trust. That's why I was excited to try their fixer through the Hwahae Testers program! + The spray is as fine as a mist + It's surprisingly hydrating for a fixer mist + The scent is lovely, it lifts my mood every time I use it + I've used it for about 10 days on my super sensitive skin with no blemishes! + It's a moisturizing fixer that's perfect for winter use - The price of 39,000 won for 80ml feels a bit steep - The packaging feels a bit flimsy for the price point - As a fixer mist, I didn't notice a significant improvement in makeup longevity For best results, spray it both before and after applying makeup. This really helps to boost the staying power! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 29, 2020
As someone with oily skin, I'm impressed! The fine mist spray ensures even application, so you won't end up with patchy areas later. It's wonderfully hydrating, making it perfect as a moisturizing face mist. My complexion has such a lovely glow now! Due to mask-wearing, it's a bit too hydrating. Even with matte foundation, my makeup transfers onto the mask. Unless you're not wearing a mask, the humidity inside makes it incompatible with this moisturizing setting spray. It seems fine when the mask is off though.
