Unlike other setting sprays, it doesn't feel suffocating or like it's forming a heavy layer. Great product for dry seasons! Excellent makeup setting power and longevity. Love the fine mist spray. Will definitely repurchase.
ConsThe setting power and longevity might decrease in midsummer, and it could be a bit heavy for those with dry skin.

But after using the Dew Barrier Mist, I decided to try their fixer too! The fine mist spray is perfect for setting makeup. It's not drying at all - think of it as a hydrating fixer mist that leaves your skin feeling moisturized.
ConsSince this is marketed as a hydrating mist for dry skin, those with oily skin might not enjoy it as much. It's so moisturizing that you could even use it as a regular facial mist!
TipI use this to set my makeup and also spray it on my makeup sponge before applying foundation. It helps the foundation adhere to my skin beautifully! The refreshing fruity scent is lovely too.

The spray is excellent, and it doesn't clump. It leaves my skin so moisturized that it gives me that coveted Inner Glow!
ConsIt's not as hydrating as I'd hoped, and when I pat it in, a lot of product comes off on my hands.

Usually, on important days when I do a full face of makeup, I use the Urban Decay travel-size setting spray, but the smell was too overwhelming. I wanted to make a good impression with my makeup, but I was worried the lingering scent might have the opposite effect. This product, however, has a pleasant scent (almost unscented to me) and helps combat deep dryness. I'm so satisfied! The Urban Decay one made my skin dry, causing oil to shine through. Also, it's reassuring to know that this fixer contains good mist ingredients. I've never experienced any blemishes after using it.
ConsThe only downside is that you can't see how much product is left or the price, although the packaging design is pretty. Compared to Urban Decay, which has a double cap, this one only has an outer lid, which is a bit of a contrast.
TipI use Espoir Be Silk and Clio concealer as my base (both are matte), and then I sparingly spray this twice!

In summer, I can finish with powder, but in winter, using powder makes my skin unbearably dry underneath. I had no choice but to stick to matte makeup, but lately I've been obsessed with dewy looks. When I tried skipping powder, my T-zone would get so shiny I was about to give up. Then I was lucky enough to be selected for the Hwahae Testers program for the d'Alba fixer. Even though I have oily skin, I've been loving d'Alba's White Truffle First Spray Serum, so I had high hopes. As expected, d'Alba doesn't disappoint... Trust and use it! All the other fixers I've tried either made my skin feel tight or didn't work at all, so I was about to switch to just using mists. But this one is amazing! The spray is so fine and misty, it feels great to apply and distributes evenly. One day, after work when my makeup had completely broken down, I quickly patted on some cushion foundation, sprayed this d'Alba fixer in a rush, and went to meet friends. They complimented me on how good my makeup looked... I couldn't believe it, but when I checked in the mirror, my makeup really did look smooth and pretty, as if I naturally had great skin. Despite being in a plastic bottle, the design is luxurious and fantastic.
ConsI was planning to repurchase after using up the one I received, but the price... what's going on? As expected... it was too good to be true... I regret carelessly spraying it generously on myself and my friends while thinking 'This is so great!' without considering the cost...

The spray is incredibly fine and even It's a true mist spray, spreading evenly on the face without any clumping, which I really liked. 2. Surprisingly hydrating for a fixer The 'serum' in the name isn't just for show. It leaves a moisturizing feeling after spraying, like a hydrating mist, making it perfect for this cold and dry weather. Highly recommended for those with dry skin rather than oily!
Cons1. Disappointing staying power For a fixer, it doesn't set makeup as well as expected. It feels more like a hydrating mist. 2. Goes quickly While the fine mist ensures even application, the amount dispensed is less than expected, leading to multiple sprays. It seems like it will run out quickly, so the value for money is questionable...
TipFor best results, spray after skincare and pat gently with a puff, then spray again after base makeup for longer-lasting wear.

The fine mist application gives a gentle, settling feeling which is quite nice. I sprayed it between skincare and base makeup steps, and initially it went on smoothly without any issues. 1. Longevity and staying power This wasn't bad at all. Perhaps due to the winter season, even with my oily skin, there was a slight dryness, but this product left my skin feeling moisturized without being greasy, which I really liked. It has a matte finish but with a hint of hydration. I deliberately tested it with eye makeup that tends to smudge easily, and it held up well everywhere except under the eyes. For the skin, I noticed it starting to break down after about 8-9 hours. Before that, I didn't check closely, but that's when it became noticeable. It wasn't drastically off, just needed a bit of touch-up. 2. Fine mist spray It goes on incredibly smoothly. I didn't worry about it disturbing my base makeup or skin. It's so light you barely feel it, which is great. There was no patchiness or unevenness, which can sometimes happen with sprays that don't disperse well.
Cons1. It might be a bit much for oily skin types. I had to finish with powder in between applications. Without that, it might feel a bit too rich in terms of oil and moisture.
TipFor those with oily skin like mine, it might be good to use some powder in between applications.

But now in my 20s, especially during fall and winter, keeping my skin hydrated has become essential as it gets dry and tight. That's where this Dalba mist came in handy! Initially, I thought it would just be a moisturizing fixer, but it was so much more. With masks being a necessity these days, maintaining makeup has become crucial, and I noticed a real difference when using this mist. I used to avoid fixers thinking they'd make touch-ups difficult, but this product changed my mind. I'll definitely keep using it. The mist absorbs well, leaving the skin hydrated. I also love the fine, even spray that makes application easy. While I'm not extremely dry-skinned, I think this fixer would be great for those with dry skin too. Highly recommended!
ConsThe scent might be a bit off-putting for some. Those sensitive to fragrances should take note! (It wasn't unbearable for me, though.) However, the scent doesn't linger - it dissipates quickly.

However, this product feels more like a mist than a typical fixer, allowing me to enjoy a longer-lasting moisturized feeling. Previously, I used powder to minimize transfer onto my mask and clothes. Since mask-wearing became common, I switched to just applying sunscreen without makeup. Over time, my skin became quite dry, but spraying the Dalba fixer before going out provides a wonderful boost of hydration. +) For my base makeup, I used the Too Cool for School Eclat Satin Cushion. +) I took the photo right after spraying the fixer and letting it absorb.
ConsWhile the fine mist spray distributes evenly, I noticed that when it settles on the face, it forms small water droplets in certain areas. To ensure proper absorption and adherence to the skin, I found it necessary to pat it in with a puff.
TipThe Dalba fixer sprays as a fine mist, but I noticed it tends to gather in certain areas on my face. In my case, I spray it two or three times in short bursts and then gently pat it with a puff. Since I use a hydrating base, there's a higher risk of transfer onto my mask, but using the fixer seems to reduce this somewhat.

I've always felt that fixers somehow made my skin feel strangely dry. So even though I always needed to use them, they would dry out my skin, leaving it feeling tight afterwards. However, this Dalba fixer doesn't dry out my skin much at all! I sprayed it on as the final step of my base makeup, and it gave me that coveted 'moist inside, smooth outside' effect. I think I'll continue using this product well into the future. Plus, the spray power is really good!
ConsIf I had to point out a downside... maybe the volume is a bit small? But honestly, I can't really think of any significant drawbacks.
