Unlike other setting sprays, it doesn't feel suffocating or like it's forming a heavy layer. Great product for dry seasons! Excellent makeup setting power and longevity. Love the fine mist spray. Will definitely repurchase.
ConsThe setting power and longevity might decrease in midsummer, and it could be a bit heavy for those with dry skin.

The signature Dalba fragrance is lovely, and the mist spray feels gentle. Not only for finishing makeup, but you can also spritz it right before patting in your products, then apply your base, and finish with another spray to really lock everything in place. Since it's not aerosol, you can take it on planes too!
ConsThe fixing power isn't particularly strong, so it's best to think of it as a light mist with some fixing properties.

The fine mist application gives a gentle, settling feeling which is quite nice. I sprayed it between skincare and base makeup steps, and initially it went on smoothly without any issues. 1. Longevity and staying power This wasn't bad at all. Perhaps due to the winter season, even with my oily skin, there was a slight dryness, but this product left my skin feeling moisturized without being greasy, which I really liked. It has a matte finish but with a hint of hydration. I deliberately tested it with eye makeup that tends to smudge easily, and it held up well everywhere except under the eyes. For the skin, I noticed it starting to break down after about 8-9 hours. Before that, I didn't check closely, but that's when it became noticeable. It wasn't drastically off, just needed a bit of touch-up. 2. Fine mist spray It goes on incredibly smoothly. I didn't worry about it disturbing my base makeup or skin. It's so light you barely feel it, which is great. There was no patchiness or unevenness, which can sometimes happen with sprays that don't disperse well.
Cons1. It might be a bit much for oily skin types. I had to finish with powder in between applications. Without that, it might feel a bit too rich in terms of oil and moisture.
TipFor those with oily skin like mine, it might be good to use some powder in between applications.

It's been quite dry lately, and while I'd hesitate to use a regular mist for fear of it causing pilling or transferring to my mask, this fixer provides hydration and keeps makeup in place, so it's a winner
ConsThere weren't really any significant downsides to the product However, the cap opens too easily, so when I carry it in my bag it's always coming off, which is a bit inconvenient

Scent It has a sweet, natural fragrance! The fixer I used before (Urb** De***) had a breath-like, unpleasant smell, but I kept using it for its staying power. I think I'll be using this one from now on :) 2. Longevity I sprayed it between each layer of makeup when I did my face at lunchtime! When I got home in the evening and looked in the mirror, everything was still in place! Maybe it's because I used Estée Lauder products known for their staying power along with this makeup fixer, but this product seems to have amazing setting and lasting power. 3. Spray Unlike some other products that clump and spray large droplets, this one mists like a fine fog, so it applies evenly even on skin with texture!! I highly recommend this product for its spray quality.
ConsIt's a good size to carry for travel :) When using it at home and spraying between makeup steps, the amount goes down quickly.
TipSpray lightly at these stages of your routine for increased longevity: After sunscreen After foundation After powder

Skin type: Oily T-zone / Combination U-zone Spray power: I usually prefer a matte skin finish, so I often use makeup fixers. However, it's rare to find a fixer with a fine mist spray like Dalba's product. The spray power is what I like most about it. Staying power: The fixing ability is also excellent. Even though mask-wearing has significantly reduced makeup wear time, there's a noticeable difference between days when I use this fixer and when I don't.
ConsWhile I'm generally satisfied with using this product, the price seems a bit high for the amount you get.

The floral fragrance is delightful! The spray distributes evenly like a mist, which is very satisfying.
ConsThe makeup setting power seems a bit weak. And it was no match for mask wear, unfortunately.
TipFor better results, spray generously from the base layer to enhance its staying power.

It distributes much more evenly than most sprays, ensuring a uniform application across the face. After makeup, I recommend spraying 3-4 times and then gently patting it in - it absorbs and sets beautifully! Hydration: ♥♥♥♥♥ This is what I loved most about it. I tend to have deep dryness, but after using this fixer, the hydration lasted amazingly long! No deep dryness at all... I think it's definitely due to the serum ingredients. Thumbs up! Staying power: ♥♥♥♥ My skin tends to get oily and my makeup breaks down quickly due to my deep dryness, but with this, there was less oil production and less makeup breakdown. It also reduced creasing around the nose, so I think it would be great for those of us blessed with larger pores.
ConsTransfer: ♥♥ When patting it in after spraying, it transfers quite a bit onto your hands. While the hydration is nice, it's disappointing that it transfers so much during the absorption process before it sets. Despite the long-lasting hydration, it doesn't seem to transfer any less onto masks either. Price: ♥ I realized after using it a few times that the price is... quite high. If it weren't for the transfer issue, it might have been worth it. While it may vary for different people, as a college student, I find the price a bit burdensome.
TipThe photo shows the result after applying powder following the fixer. It significantly reduced transfer onto masks and improved the staying power. Those concerned about transfer might want to consider applying powder separately. I think this works well for those with extremely dry skin like mine.

Before using DALBA, I used Make**** products, but those completely stiffened my skin, giving it a tight feeling. DALBA's fixer doesn't do that at all. It allows for a glowy finish and seems to provide hydration while setting makeup effectively (great at fixing the glowy look). Since I apply foundation quite heavily, it can run if the spray isn't good, but there's none of that with this fine mist spray (just maintain the right distance when spraying). Above all, while fixers often have questionable ingredients, this one only has about two potentially allergenic components, which I'm satisfied with. Overall, I'm really impressed with how it enhances the glow and its staying power. The photos show before spraying, after spraying, and 6 hours later.
ConsThe cap... I'm not sure if it's just mine, but when I put it in my pouch or bag, the cap keeps coming off and opening. This causes debris to get on the spray nozzle. Also, it's inconvenient that you can't see how much product is left inside. There's no noticeable difference when spraying over a face mask. I guess it just works to keep makeup from fading away.
TipMake sure to spray several times while maintaining the proper distance. Otherwise, it might run down your face!

It's somehow luxurious with its gold and white design. I'm swooning! ♡ Dryness I usually prefer matte foundations, so I was worried that spraying a fixer on top might make my skin too dry. However, it didn't feel excessively drying. ♡ Staying power After about 6 hours without any touch-ups, my makeup seemed to hold up better than usual. Though it still transferred a bit onto my mask. ♡ Blemishes Even with my super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any breakouts! While skincare can be hit or miss, I personally had no issues with blemishes. ♡ Scent The fragrance is subtle. It's barely noticeable, which I appreciate since I'm not a fan of strongly scented cosmetics.
ConsThere's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick one thing, it would be that it's a bit pricey for the amount you get. It might be a stretch for a student's budget...
TipRemember to shake the bottle 3-4 times before use!
