Best bang for your buck, hands down! Among the BBIA velvet lip products, this one has the prettiest color payoff and decent staying power. It's also super affordable, so I've bought every shade and wear them according to my mood. The shade I use most often is 'Serious Boss' - I'm already on my second tube! I've tried pretty much every lip product from high-end department store brands, and BBIA's tints don't fall short at all. In fact, I think BBIA's color payoff is even prettier! There's a bit of transfer, and it tends to wear off quite a bit after eating. The scent is also quite strong. I'm not sure what flavor it is, but when it gets on my teeth and I lick it off, it tastes rather unhealthy (though I know tints aren't meant to be healthy anyway, hehe). When I first started using this product, it caused some dead skin cells to appear, but that doesn't happen anymore. I use it with Bioderma lip balm, so that might be helping. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 1, 2021
Pros: Matte Finish: The standout feature of this tint is its matte texture! I was specifically looking for a matte lip product, and this one fits the bill perfectly. Color: This tint is highly recommended for those with warm undertones. As someone with a warm complexion myself, it suits me wonderfully. Price: As a student, I find it affordable and budget-friendly! This is the first lip tint I've ever purchased, and I'm so pleased with it that I've lost count of how many times I've repurchased. It applies smoothly on the lips and feels velvety soft. I'm absolutely in love with it! Cons: The tint has a scent that I personally found unpleasant. For enhanced longevity, try blotting the tint with a tissue after application. This technique helps it last longer! Also, the color looks beautiful when applied as a gradient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 8, 2021
The color payoff is beautiful and the staying power is quite impressive. It's a lovely red with a slight pink undertone. The scent is a bit... If you apply it right before eating, those with sensitive noses might find the smell noticeable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 18, 2020
The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous! I initially tried 'Calm Boss' but it was too vibrant, so I switched to 'Serious Boss'. It's a beautifully toned-down pink shade that I'm in love with. The scent isn't particularly pleasant, and it tends to smudge easily around the container, making it a bit challenging to maintain. However, given its incredibly affordable price, I think these minor issues are acceptable trade-offs. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 25, 2020
First off, I love that it's budget-friendly and the color has a subtle pink tint without being too intense. It's absolutely perfect! The scent isn't really my cup of tea, which is a bit disappointing. Also, I'm not sure about the claim that it leaves a deep pink stain? I think it would look absolutely stunning if you use this as a base and blend other colors on top for a beautiful gradient effect. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 20, 2020
Color: The rose shade is absolutely gorgeous. Case: The packaging looks luxurious and beautiful. Price: It's affordable, making it a great option for students. Adherence: It clings perfectly to the lips, which is fantastic. Scent: It has that distinctive Bbia fragrance, which I personally don't enjoy. Accentuates dead skin cells: Since I tend to have a lot of flaky skin on my lips, it emphasizes the dead skin cells if I don't exfoliate before application. It looks pretty on its own, but it's even more beautiful when layered with other products. For those with a lot of dead skin cells like me, use a lip balm to exfoliate before applying, otherwise it may accentuate the flakiness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMar 19, 2020
Bbia tints are famous for a reason! As a dried rose enthusiast, I was torn between 'Flower Than' and 'Salang', but ultimately chose 'Serious Boss'. I usually test tints on my wrist once before buying, and this one looked so pretty in-store that I had to take it home. It's not a deep dried rose shade though. On my lips, it's more like 90% pink and 10% brown. Still, it suits me well and looks beautiful, so it's definitely worth using. The packaging is lovely too... The formula is a bit thick and can accentuate dead skin cells, so make sure to exfoliate before applying! What's with this pink staining... It really stains a hot pink!! That unattractive, watery tint-like pink... This is why I don't reach for it often. I'm usually not picky about how tints stain, but this one is just too much... The scent wasn't great for me either. I tried the 'Saenggi-gab' from the Bbia series first, and aside from the color not suiting me, the fragrance gave me such a headache that I ended up giving it to a friend... Though I must say, as I used it more, I became less sensitive to the scent. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 8, 2020
When applied lightly, it looks just like my natural lips. I think it's so pretty when used as a base and layered with other products. The scent is unpleasant. It's hard to describe, but it smells rather unhealthy, if that makes sense. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 5, 2020
I really like the color! It has a subtle pink undertone. However, the staining doesn't seem to last very long, and the scent isn't pleasant... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 13, 2019
Jinsyboss is my holy grail! I can't apply tint without it. The color is so beautiful, and it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells. The scent is a bit... unpleasant. Also, it contains quite a few ingredients to be cautious about. It's fantastic as a base layer, and it looks gorgeous even when applied on its own!
