When applied lightly, it gives a soft pink hue. Since a heavy application doesn't suit me, I used just a tiny amount when I wanted a warm pink lip color. Unfortunately, it accentuates lip lines and leaves behind a hot pink stain. - Hwahae UserOily SkinOct 2, 2022
I usually prefer a light application, but with proper amount control, this can look like my natural lip color. The shade is absolutely perfect. The application feel is great too - it's like it adheres seamlessly to my lips. And I love the packaging design... it's totally my style! As someone with a deep undertone, I noticed it looked much pinker on my face than in the photos. Also, if you have any dry patches on your lips, you'll need to exfoliate before applying. It dries quickly and tends to emphasize dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 6, 2021
The staying power is so impressive that it won't budge even after eating greasy food While the product itself appears to be a mauve-brown shade, it leaves a completely pink stain on the lips... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSep 23, 2020
Velvet tint This is one of my top three favorite velvet tints. While its longevity isn't exceptional, it has great adherence. Compared to other velvet tints in a similar price range, it feels like it clings to the lips more closely. Color discrepancy with official website I bought this after seeing swatches on YouTube and the official website, which said it would suit muted autumn-summer tones. Has it been reformulated? I was shocked by how different the color is. I heard it was a grayish, toned-down pink-beige, but it's just pink with a drop of beige. My lips are naturally quite pigmented, but I was surprised at how different the arm swatch was from the lip swatch. You definitely need to test this before buying. Poor longevity Overall, I don't feel like BBIA tints have good staying power. Staining It stains hot pink... After eating, it keeps leaving a pink stain, resulting in unintended makeup that I don't like. I deliberately bought this shade because vibrant pink doesn't suit me, but if it stains hot pink, it defeats the purpose of my purchase. If it's been reformulated, please update the swatches on the official website. The actual color is so different, it's confusing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 4, 2020
The initial color is truly beautiful... As soon as you see it, it's like a perfect rose shade! The staining and final color turn into a hot pink... It's really not attractive I'd recommend this to anyone who thinks vibrant colors suit them well! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 21, 2020
The biggest advantage is definitely the wallet-friendly price, and it applies with a nice moisturizing feel. While the initial color is pretty, it's disappointing that it stains the skin with a pink tint. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 5, 2020
I'm between a light undertone and deep undertone, leaning towards light (I suspect I'm a Light Mute). Just writing this review for fun! I bought this color along with the 'Calm Boss' shade. This color is on the muted side, a coral-brown with a slight pink undertone, making it wearable for cool tones without being overwhelming. It's a calm shade that complements a bare face nicely. Personally, I think it would suit Light Mutes and Soft Autumns best. The scent is similar to Vita 500, and the texture can be described as semi-matte. I was worried the coral-brown might not suit me, but it's a perfect match (again, I suspect I'm a Light Mute). I'm really pleased with it! After wearing this tint for a while, a pink tinge develops. If you wipe it with a tissue, you'll notice some pink staining (though it's not extreme). While it's not severe, those sensitive to pink staining might want to consider other products. I'm deducting one point for the pink staining issue. This pairs perfectly with the 'Serious Boss' from the same line. Use 'Serious Boss' as a base and add 'Calm Boss' as a point color. I tried this combination and absolutely loved it! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2020
Hmm, it absorbs nicely and the color is quite pretty! I really like it. Well, the pink cast is quite intense, which is uncomfortable. I knew Bbia was famous for its pink cast, but I didn't expect it to be this strong... If you apply it thinly, there's hardly any pink cast! - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 30, 2020
It's so moisturizing! No need to worry about dead skin cells showing up with this hydrating matte lip product. Pink staining, unfortunately. Like most of BBIA's lip products, this one also leaves a pink stain... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 23, 2020
I absolutely adore the texture of Peripera's Velvet Tint! Peripera is just amazing... The color has a subtle, sophisticated vibe that's really nice, truly living up to its 'serious' name. The value for money is incredible. While the regular price is 12000 won, I've never seen it not on sale at Lohb's or LaLa Blah. It's truly a budget-friendly gem! The pink staining is one thing, but when you apply the tint thinly, the color changes a bit. With 'Serious Boss', the color is pretty, but it's so hard to apply it true to the original shade. I was so disappointed that I couldn't blend it meticulously. When I wore this on a school trip, a friend complimented the color, but when I looked in the mirror, only the intense pink stain remained! The hassle of having to reapply every time it fades is quite annoying. I've included photos, but there's a slight difference between how it looks on my hand versus my lips. For the second photo, I tried adjusting the saturation and tweaking it because it looked different from the original color, but it still appears slightly off. I think it would look pretty if you apply another product as a base and then gradient this one, focusing on the center of your lips!
