The finish is pleasantly matte, making it ideal for these mask-wearing times.
ConsWhen first applied, it feels a bit heavy, like there's a layer sitting on your face. However, you quickly get used to it or it absorbs - I'm not sure which - but it becomes more comfortable.
TipWorks great as a foundation-free sunscreen.

However, this product sets to a matte finish, so I don't need to apply a separate oil control product. The brightening effect is strong, and it lasts better than I expected.
ConsThe Papa Recipe brand sometimes causes my sensitive skin to react. Although there's a decent amount of product, it's quite thick when squeezing it out, so I always end up with an awkward amount left over. It's matte, so you need to apply it quickly. Otherwise, it sets before you can blend it properly, leaving visible patches.
TipI didn't use any additional powder after applying this product since I have combination dehydrated skin. If you have dry skin, you'll probably need to apply a generous amount of moisturizer beforehand.

I've tried various sunscreens from overseas and domestic brands, but I'm currently using this one for the third time. * Absorbs well (though amount control is necessary) * Natural brightening effect * No eye irritation or blemishes at all * Sufficient on its own for quick outings For reference, I've tried sunscreens from the Hwahae rankings but had to give up due to eye irritation. I rarely wear makeup and have quite a few dark spots, but I prefer a natural look. This product was perfect for that.
ConsAmount control is necessary. It tends to leave a slight white cast, so you need to apply about two pea-sized amounts evenly over your face. Depending on your skin condition, dry areas may become more noticeable, but that's just my skin situation... After some time, my makeup tends to pill due to my oily skin. That's why I think it's a sunscreen that requires careful amount control.

It's lightweight and easy to carry around.
ConsSensitive skin reacts immediately. After using it for two days, I experienced side effects like blemishes. Also, the matte finish, which could be a plus for some, might feel drying, so keep that in mind.
TipFor those with healthy skin, this is a product you can use directly without applying makeup.

It was so thick I had to rub it in forcefully, and it was impossible to apply the same amount as my usual sunscreen. However, I recently discovered new uses for it! 1. Lightly applying it on the forehead and around the eyes allows for a nice brightening effect. My forehead and eye area are slightly darker than the rest of my face, so I apply a very thin layer there, then put my regular sunscreen on top. This helps even out my complexion, and I've been using it this way consistently. 2. It's great for matching neck and arm skin tone to the face. I love using it on my neck - after applying a rich moisturizer, I use a generous amount. It brightens adequately, provides good sun protection with proper application, and doesn't transfer onto clothes. Perfect! As for the scent, it smells like yogurt or milk, perhaps due to probiotics? It's not unpleasant, but rather a refreshing, uplifting fragrance.
ConsIt's too white to use the recommended amount on the face! Other than that, there's nothing particularly bad about it, and it's usable.
TipIf you use a slightly richer moisturizer than usual, you can apply it without it feeling too thick! I think I bought it at a bit of a discount from the official website. It works well as a brightening moisturizer base!

ConsIt tends to leave a white cast, so you need to blend it well. If you have dry skin, it might not sit well, so make sure your skin is well-hydrated before application

ConsI'm so disappointed with Papa Recipe... It's just too much. I bought it trusting the brand, but I want my money back... At first, it was good. It literally brightened my face, made it look oil-free, and I didn't need to use any powder at all. But as time passed, my face became extremely dry. It was so dry that I finally understood what people mean by skin feeling tight. It was beyond understanding - my skin felt incredibly tight and I just wanted to wash it off quickly. The next day, my skin condition worsened significantly. Small blemishes that weren't even visible before started appearing, and my skin became even drier. This sunscreen was unbearably awful. It's the first time I've been let down by Papa Recipe. I only used it for one day, but it's such a waste of money. Even though it's a shame, I'll never use it again. I want my well-cared-for skin back...

The Centella sunscreen had a whipped cream-like texture that felt light, but it made my skin feel really tight after application, so it wasn't suitable for cold weather. This one isn't like that at all. It naturally brightens my face, making it perfect to use instead of BB cream or foundation when I'm wearing a mask all day long, like nowadays! Of course, it doesn't provide coverage, but it's great for a slight brightening effect and sun protection.
ConsWhen I first applied it, I was a bit disappointed because I didn't feel an immediate brightening effect. However, as it settled into my skin, I noticed that my complexion looked brighter and more even compared to my bare face when I looked in the mirror! I usually apply one layer, wait a bit, and then lightly apply a second layer.
