When your lips are cracked, peeling, and in total disarray, applying this every night for 3 days will transform them completely. It has some granules, so you can't really use it during the day - it's best applied before bed. However, it's an absolute must-have for fall and winter. Even though I have dry lips year-round, having this on hand gives me peace of mind. Vaseline is good too, but it's too greasy and leaves a film when you drink water, plus it leaves a Vaseline taste. Nuxe has a more solid texture. It might look thick when you apply it, but it doesn't feel slippery or greasy at all, which is really convenient. Plus, the scent is lovely. The subtle honey fragrance is addictive (and won't give you a headache). Hmm, there's not much to dislike. If I had to pick something, maybe the jar-shaped container? But even that's good - it looks like a little honey pot! Apply it before bed. If you need to wear makeup tomorrow but your lips are in terrible condition today, just put this on before sleeping. It'll make your lips smooth enough to apply lip products. - sk*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2023
When my lips get chapped or dry, applying this occasionally seems to improve them quickly. It's quite rich, so I mainly use it before bed. I slather it on generously, including around my lips. It reminds me of the famous Nuxe oil - I think it has a similar oil base. Anyway, it's quite thick, but a little goes a long way and absorbs well, so it lasts a long time. It seems unscented, but there's a slight fragrance that isn't particularly pleasant. Rather than for daily use during the day, apply this to improve lip dead skin cells and cracks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 4, 2023
The hydration seems quite good. The glass jar also looks luxurious. Since you have to scoop it out with your fingers, there are hygiene concerns and it's inconvenient to carry around. Above all, it feels like the moisturizing effect doesn't last very long. - da*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedFeb 25, 2022
The texture is lovely, with a subtle honey scent, and the consistency reminds me of honey too. It feels wonderfully moisturizing on the lips without any strange sensation. I really love how it keeps my lips hydrated. The pot packaging makes it a bit inconvenient to use. Also, I noticed the scent has changed slightly, which is a bit odd. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 26, 2021
I bought this at a pharmacy during my trip to France. I applied it generously to my lips before bed. It has a yellowish tint, so it's not great for use before makeup. The color doesn't show up well either. Even though I apply it thickly at night, I don't feel like it provides much hydration. The jar packaging makes it convenient to use before bedtime. - es********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 7, 2021
I'm a true lip desert girl, with lips that crack even in summer! I've tried almost every Korean lip balm out there... I must have spent over a million won on lip balms alone. But then!!!!!!! I didn't know Nuxe had a lip balm until I spotted it at Olive Young and bought it. Oh my goodness, it ended my million-won journey! It has a chewy texture like a lip mask, but it adheres so well that it doesn't smear. When applied to lips with a lot of dead skin cells, it softens them, and when applied to exfoliated lips, it keeps them moisturized. There are honestly no downsides. Even though it's rich, it goes on smoothly without feeling uncomfortable! If you apply it before bed and layer some Popo Cream on top, your wrinkles will be smoothed out by the next morning. It's truly amazing... - gp****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 4, 2021
Among the many lip balms out there, I dare say this is the best! It's not for daily use though! (If used daily, apply only a small amount, otherwise it can leave a white residue on the inside of your lips.) When you apply a thick layer before bed and gently exfoliate your lips while cleansing in the morning, this product can give you soft, supple lips. It's quite rich, so when you drink something after applying it, it leaves marks on your cup. Applying a generous amount before bed seems to work wonders for chapped lips in winter. - wl********Combination SkinRecommendedNov 2, 2021
This product is absolutely amazing! I've been recommending it to everyone I know. As someone who often bites their lips, causing them to bleed in winter, I can say that applying this before bed leaves my lips incredibly smooth. It's hands down the best lip balm I've ever used. The only downside is that it's a bit tricky to apply. Since it's not in stick form, it can get your hands messy. But honestly, that's the only drawback - everything else about it is fantastic! - rk******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2021
❗️Lip condition: Excessive dead skin cells, dryness, super sensitive skin ✔️Fragrance: Light honey scent ✔️Texture: Thick with slight granules ✔️Packaging: Lip balm container with a lid. Twist-open design prevents losing the cap, but requires holding while applying. ✔️Suitable seasons: All year round 💧Application, absorption & hydration: Applies well despite granules. Absorption takes some time, but hydration is excellent! ✔️Overall: My go-to lip balm for bad lip days. For mask-free days, apply generously as night care for amazing results! Cannot apply tint over this as it smudges and fades. Not bad for lipstick application, but difficult to apply evenly. Use night care as daily care under your mask! Before removing the mask, gently blot lips with a tissue and apply lip product for best results! - hj*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2021
The subtle, universally appealing fragrance and the rich, creamy texture are delightful. Applying it before bed makes managing dead skin cells easier in the morning. It would be great if it came in stick form too! Having to touch it directly with fingers can sometimes raise hygiene concerns.
