This is a multi-purpose balm I use for touch-ups or when my face feels dry. The scent isn't overwhelming, and the moisturizing effect lasts long, making it my daily go-to balm. As someone with extremely dry skin, this is my absolute favorite!!! When I first applied it, it went on smoothly and the subtle fragrance was very pleasant. Perhaps due to the winter season, it didn't transfer well to my hands, leaving me feeling like I needed to keep reapplying to get enough coverage. The honey scent is pleasant and not overpowering. The texture is rich but doesn't leave a lingering residue on your hands, which is great. It applies like a lip balm, seeming to provide good protection for the lips. The honey fragrance feels a bit artificial when you think about it, which can be slightly off-putting. Having to apply it with your fingers means you always need to ensure your hands are clean, which can be a bit of a hassle. When you first use it, it might be a bit difficult to get the product out. Try creating a small depression in the surface and apply from around that area for easier application.

The value for money is excellent with its generous amount, allowing for frequent and liberal application. I use it on my face, lips, and hands - it's so versatile! After applying, any itchy areas are soothed, and it suits my skin really well. There's not much to dislike, but if you think of it as just a lip balm, the price might seem a bit steep. I applied this after using an exfoliating toner and oil cleansing, following my basic skincare routine. I put it on areas that were slightly itchy or irritated. It calmed the itchy spots wonderfully. This would be really, really great for those with extremely dry skin. You can feel the rich hydration and moisture being supplied instantly upon application. It's similar to Vaseline, but feels lighter. I bought this to use on dry areas of my body like arms, legs, ankles, and nails rather than my face. However, since it's a balm type, it doesn't absorb immediately... When I apply it to my body, it ends up smearing everywhere in the house. I often sit cross-legged, and after applying it to my ankles, the floor becomes slippery, so I have to wipe it clean. Also, it has a distinctive scent that I personally didn't like... It's different from the Nuxe oil fragrance! I can't quite describe the scent.

When I apply it before bed, I wake up with my skin still feeling moisturized, which is such a relief! These days, I've been hearing that if you don't take care of your skin, you'll age quickly, so I've been focusing on hydration. This Super Balm is like an S.O.S. for dry and damaged skin! Since you have to apply it with your hands, make sure to wash them thoroughly before use for hygiene reasons. I apply it to my lips and the surrounding area, and then use any excess on my cuticles before bed. I love it! It's not too sticky, and when I apply it before bed, I wake up with noticeably smoother skin everywhere. It's great for when I've washed my hands too often, have chapped lips, or even on rough elbows. It really works hard to soothe those dead skin cells! The scent is a natural honey smell, which isn't particularly appealing, but it's tolerable since you can just go to sleep right after applying it.

There wasn't anything particularly bad, but as I had to scoop it out to use, I felt it might not be the most hygienic option. To be honest, I bought it simply because I like Nuxe products, without knowing its exact purpose. I ended up applying it here and there, but it worked best as a lip balm. 
06*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 6, 2020Lèvre de Miel Super Balm True to its name, it has a balm-like texture. I personally love this type of formulation, so it was right up my alley. It's perfect for applying small amounts to areas that need extra hydration. When applied, you can feel both moisture and richness, making your skin feel soft. My hands were so dry that the skin kept peeling, but applying this 2-3 times a day prevented further peeling. It didn't completely eliminate the rough texture, though. While my hands were fine, I also applied it elsewhere. A friend touched my skin and said it felt like a baby's skin, haha! Being a balm, it can be slightly inconvenient to melt before use, but it's not like you have to deliberately melt it. It naturally softens as you apply. Fragrance The scent is quite unique and felt a bit strong for my taste. I generally prefer unscented or very subtle fragrances. It contains fragrance, which I think could have been left out. Moisture retention Using this product alone doesn't provide long-lasting hydration. Due to its rich texture, it works better when applied over other hydrating products. Packaging It doesn't fit perfectly in your hand. It feels slightly slippery. I prefer squeeze tubes over spatulas for hygiene reasons, but I suppose this balm formulation doesn't allow for that. Apply a light, hydrating product first, then layer this on top for longer-lasting moisture.
