I bought this product because I like matte cushions, even though my skin is dry. It helps to add some moisture and makes the cushion color pop. After applying the basic toner, it feels gentle and non-irritating, like a lightweight moisturizer.

☝️It really feels like my skin is being replenished with moisture The difference between just applying a cream and then applying this is really noticeable - it feels like it's deeply and thoroughly filling my skin with moisture. ☝️Makeup doesn't get cakey Since using this, my makeup has never gotten cakey at all. It's been amazing. ☝️Skin looks better I'm not sure if this has a primer-like function, but it gives my skin a nice, smooth appearance, and when I apply makeup on top of it, my skin looks even better. ☝️A little goes a long way Just a small amount really saturates my skin with moisture, which is great.

☝️Slightly heavy Because it deeply replenishes moisture, it may not be the best for those who prefer a very lightweight feel. I tried using a base for the first time and I liked how moisturizing it was! I haven't tried any other bases yet so I can't compare, but even though my skin is sensitive, I didn't get any breakouts!
Cons

Pros
Even though I usually use matte foundation due to my oily skin, my cheeks would keep getting dry and cracked. So I bought a new base product, and it seems to have less cracking and I'm not as worried about using it on my acne-prone skin. It doesn't seem to be causing any breakouts, and it applies smoothly and feels moisturizing. Since I have a somewhat yellow-toned complexion, using this as a color-correcting primer before foundation works well for me. While I can just wear the tinted moisturizer alone on lazy days and it still looks fine, the oiliness does still come through a bit, so I think those with very oily skin may not find it ideal. But for my dry, sensitive skin, it's been working well without any issues.

While the product can be good for dry skin types, it seems to vary a bit depending on individual skin types. My sister, who also has dry skin, found it worked well for her in the winter, but when she wore it for her makeup, the makeup ended up separating and looking bad. She said it felt very oily when first applied, but then got quite dry and dehydrated-looking over time. In the end, she ended up switching it out after using about half the bottle. The application was nice and it covered redness well, but the issues with it breaking up her makeup and getting dry were problematic. So for oily skin types, I would definitely not recommend this. And even for dry skin, it might be worth testing it out first before committing, as the lasting effects on the skin seem a bit inconsistent.
