  Pros

  I recently tried the Giverny Foundation, and it was better than I expected. First of all, the application is incredibly smooth and the adhesion is really good. It applies in a thin, even layer without feeling thick, so the skin expression looks natural. The coverage is also quite good, so blemishes and redness are decently covered, and the finish is powdery but not overly dry.

  Cons

  However, those with dry skin would likely benefit from adding some moisture to the base. I also used a moisturizing cream along with it, as I was worried about my skin feeling tight. While it did break down over time, it didn't crumble horribly and instead gently faded, making touch-ups easy.

  Tip

  A moisturizing primer used together will make the skin expression more beautiful. Rather than patting with a puff, apply it thinly with a brush or your hands, and layer it in small amounts only where needed to finish it lightly and neatly. Spraying a fixative will greatly increase the adhesion!

  Pros

  For skin tones between 19-21, the color match was quite good. Right after application, you don't need to use much powder, which is a plus.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, it doesn't hold up well on oily skin. It tends to break down, especially around the mouth area where it seems to fade away. If you try to increase its longevity with powder, it can look dry and cakey. This product definitely requires touch-ups throughout the day.

  Pros

  I have to admit, the coverage is excellent and it applies beautifully. The color is also quite pleasing. It's not completely matte, which gives it a lovely finish.

  Cons

  If you have oily skin, I really can't recommend this. The T-zone breaks down within just 2 hours. In my experience, it doesn't even last an hour (and that's with using both setting spray and powder).

  It looks gorgeous when mixed with other foundations. Especially great for blending with foundations that lack a pink undertone.

  Cons

  Personally, when applied alone, the shade didn't match my complexion and it broke down terribly over time... Also, it sets quickly, so you need to blend it fast.

  Tip

  Highly recommend mixing it with other products. If used alone, it might look a bit off on yellow-toned skin.

  This foundation doesn't cake on my usually problematic skin. The shade is absolutely gorgeous! It effectively covers redness. The skin finish is truly beautiful (gives a lovely glow). Doesn't irritate acne-prone skin. When it fades, it does so gracefully.

  Cons

  It doesn't fully conceal larger blemishes. While it doesn't break down messily, there's a slight feeling of the makeup fading throughout the day. Be careful as it can sometimes settle unattractively into nose pores.

  Pros

  If you're looking for an ivory-toned foundation, Giverny is an absolute must-try! It's great for mixing with darker foundations to achieve a beautifully radiant complexion. The foundation has a slightly more semi-matte finish compared to cushions. It also offers medium to high coverage!

  Cons

  Given its semi-matte nature, those with dry skin might find it a bit drying. It tends to break down around the nose and above the upper lip, which isn't the most flattering. However, the shade range is so good it makes up for these minor issues!

  Tip

  I found that applying with a brush rather than a puff gave the best results for a flawless makeup application.
