It gives your skin that coveted Inner Glow look, and the color is absolutely gorgeous. The best part? There's no darkening of the skin whatsoever! Hair tends to stick to it easily. It's in that awkward in-between state where you're not sure whether to apply powder or not.

As someone with dry skin who typically uses shade 19, I purchased shade 17 Porcelain. While numerically it seemed bright enough, it didn't actually give me that radiant look I was hoping for when applied. So, if you're planning to mix it with a BB cream like I do, you can stick with your usual shade. However, if you intend to use it on its own, I'd recommend going one shade lighter than your normal choice for that brightening effect. It seems to come out a bit darker than expected, so I wish they would release an even lighter shade than 17. The adherence and coverage were excellent. There was also minimal darkening. As someone with dry skin, I noticed it immediately accentuated dead skin cells and didn't sit well. Therefore, I'd recommend this more for oily skin types rather than dry! Since it really emphasizes dead skin cells, I mix it with a hydrating moisturizer and apply it to my neck!

This foundation is legendary! It adheres to the skin incredibly thinly and doesn't cause any darkening. After using this and going out, I even got compliments on how good my skin looked. It applies in a thin layer but still has decent coverage. It's suitable for all skin types, absolutely. There's honestly nothing disappointing about this foundation. It's just an extremely satisfying product overall. The foundation seems to work hard to provide a flawless complexion without clogging pores or causing blemishes. Its ability to even out skin tone while feeling lightweight makes it stand out. Giverny's Skin-Hugging Cover Foundation is a game-changer! The package is top-notch, complete with a blending puff in the container. I'm usually a shade 23, leaning towards a slightly darker tan. While the 23 here is a tad brighter, it still looks natural on me. This foundation truly lives up to its name - it adheres to the skin beautifully, feels lightweight, and has impressive staying power without any breakdown. It's an absolute gem for summer use! It would be even better if they offered a more nuanced range of shades.
