Current skin condition: - Combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks. My skin barrier is damaged, and I'm trying to repair it. Why I applied for The Hwahae Testers: - This product contains both vitamin E and C, two antioxidant ingredients. The Kakadu plum blemish serum has a much higher concentration of vitamin content compared to other vitamin serums, so I applied to prevent oxidation of blackheads and sebum! Product description: Texture: Compared to other hydrating serums, it has a thicker consistency that doesn't drip when applied to the cheeks. It spreads smoothly, but as expected, it feels more elastic than moisturizing. Those who dislike this texture might feel it absorbs slowly. Irritation: There's no irritation at all, but also no soothing or cooling effect. If this serum irritates your skin, I recommend applying it after a moisturizer (emulsion or hydrating cream). Effectiveness: I noticed a slight fading of blemishes and blackheads. The skin always looks brighter immediately after application.
ConsThe downside is just the elastic feeling? If you don't like that texture, it might feel like it's not absorbing well. When you layer emulsion and sunscreen on top, it might feel a bit heavy!
TipFor someone like me, it feels heavy in the morning, so I recommend using it at night. For those with dry skin, it should work well in the morning too! Even with my combination dehydrated skin, I didn't experience any deep dryness. Also, since the vitamin content helps with sun protection, using this serum before sunscreen doubles your UV defense! For those who say it's not effective on blemishes, keep using it consistently! They say it takes about 6 weeks of regular use to see changes in your skin.

(Usage period: 4/8~4/18) Current skin condition: Large pores on the front of cheeks and between eyebrows / Overall whiteheads / Blackheads on nose / Scars from picking habit / Slight freckles on the most prominent part of cheekbones / Constant feeling of dehydration Great to use before makeup. My skin is dry, but I prefer matte makeup. So I apply a hydrating base, but as you know, too much can cause pilling. Instead of using many products, I layered the Kakadu C Blemish Serum 3-4 times, followed by a thin layer of cream applied twice. (The serum alone can be a bit drying.) The texture is between water and mucus, but it feels surprisingly firm on the skin. (Those with dry skin might find it quite drying.)
ConsScent: The smell disappears when you rub it in. However, the initial scent from the dropper is slightly off-putting. It's like crushed herbs left out for a while or a weird microphone smell. Tightness after hydration: I mentioned it feels firm earlier, right? But after that firmness, it feels a bit stiff, like rubbing soft rubber. (Of course, this feeling disappears quickly. It could also be because I applied too much.) Effectiveness? Honestly, it's hard to see immediate results with brightening products, so you need to use them consistently for over a month! I didn't notice any significant changes after 11 days of use.
