Brush I think this is the mascara brush that suits me best among all the ones I've tried! The brush is really thin and dense, so it applied well. It's super easy to apply on the lower lashes too, and it doesn't smudge around the eyes? I absolutely loved it. Though I imagine those used to thicker brushes might find it a bit awkward to use at first. Natural Curling My lashes are super straight, thick, and long, so I've always used more lash primer than mascara. But this mascara curled them well. I prefer lashes that make people think 'Oh, her lashes look longer and more defined today...' rather than 'Wow, she just applied mascara!!!!' like doll lashes. If you're like me, I highly recommend this. Packaging The packaging is thin and light, making it incredibly convenient to carry around. The design is sleek too, so it's great for frequent touch-ups on the go! Some bulky mascaras can be a bit awkward to hold, but this one's thin shape made application a breeze. Quantity... When I first received it, I was really like... huh? They really only filled it up to where the brush goes in... At first, I thought, 'Why did they give so little?' and 'Is this really worth the money...?' I was quite shocked. It's definitely not the standard mascara volume - think of it more as a mascara sample size to ease your mind. Stye I'm not sure if it's because of this product or another one, but since I started using this, I've been getting styes in my eyes. One on each side, actually. So I've stopped using it for now. I'm in the process of figuring out which product is the culprit, but this one is currently the prime suspect. If you're worried about it not agreeing with you like me, maybe check it out at Olive Young first! I found that if I heat my eyelash curler with a hair dryer before using this product, my lashes curl up beautifully. For those with super straight lashes, I really recommend trying this method! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 25, 2020
July 25, 2020 I went to Olive Young to buy mascara and ended up getting this on the staff's 1+1 recommendation. I'm so pleased with it! First off, I prefer a natural look over something too intense or heavy (like Etude House's No Makeup Mascara). This one gives a natural finish, probably due to its short brush. It doesn't clump, even with multiple coats! My lashes tend to point downwards without a curler, so I always use one. I applied this after curling my lashes intensely. The photo shows one eye with and one without the mascara! July 25, 2020 When I first applied it, either because I curled my lashes too tightly at the roots or due to the mascara formula, I felt a slight discomfort near my lash line for about 5 minutes. This happened even though I didn't apply it too close to the roots. I'll check again with future use! +) July 29, 2020 After using it for 4 more days, I still experienced that slight discomfort and a bit of eye sensitivity when using this product. If you have sensitive eyes, I recommend trying a tester before purchasing! Despite these symptoms, I like how it applies, so I'll keep using it! Always remove excess oil, then use an eyelash curler to lift your lashes well (if your lashes tend to droop, curl them more than you think necessary!). Then apply the mascara, and you're done! In my case, I don't use the curler again after applying mascara. It still lasts all day! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 1, 2020
It applies smoothly and rinses off so easily with warm water, I thought 'Wow, this is really great!' Strangely, every time I used this, my eyes would get red and puffy after removing my makeup. I didn't think much of it at first, but now on my third or fourth purchase, after wearing mascara for a while, oh my! My eyes swelled up bright red. I've used many mascaras before, but this is a first. If you're considering buying this, please read this. My eyes got so red, it looked like I had hives. I'm really disappointed. I hope no one else experiences this eye reaction like I did...
