If you're looking for a natural, clump-free mascara, I highly recommend this one. After getting a lash curl analysis, I was told I have 'yeo-cool-fail' lashes, so thick, spidery mascaras don't suit me. That's why this product was suggested. While it doesn't dramatically lengthen or give a bold look, it keeps your lashes looking neat and clean. What's more, even though my mascara usually smudges under my eyes when I smile, this one didn't budge at all! The curling power is a bit weak, so you need to use an eyelash curler to lift your lashes as much as possible beforehand. The curl retention isn't great either, so your lashes may droop a bit over time. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinJan 22, 2023
The thin tip makes it easy and pleasant to apply. It goes on smoothly without clumping, giving a clean and natural finish. That's definitely a plus. It's also easy to remove when cleansing! It doesn't hold a curl very well. Also, it tends to smudge. After a little while, it starts to flake slightly and becomes a bit powdery. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 14, 2022
It applies smoothly without clumping. The lashes become longer and more defined, giving a natural look. However, the curling power is so poor that it negates all the other benefits. The lashes droop immediately after application, making the eyelash curler seem pointless. I always have to use a lash fixer with this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2022
Easy to apply neatly, simple to control the amount, and seems like a great product for beginners. I've been using it for a long time, and it's truly a fantastic product. I definitely plan to repurchase when I run out! It doesn't really provide much curl. If you need curling, I'd recommend a different product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 27, 2021
After using this for a little over two months, here are my thoughts that might be helpful: - It applies meticulously Thanks to its thin brush, it truly lives up to its name with excellent 'adhesion'. I loved that it could reach areas other mascaras couldn't, ensuring no lash was left untouched. - Easy to apply You don't need to focus on each individual lash. A quick swipe gives an overall coverage, making it convenient when you're feeling lazy or need to do your makeup in a hurry. - Minimal clumping This has been a consistent observation - it really doesn't clump much. It doesn't apply too much product at once, instead adhering evenly to the lashes, resulting in noticeably less clumping compared to other mascaras. As someone who personally dislikes clumpy lashes, I really appreciated this aspect. - Poor staying power The extremely weak longevity means I have to carry an eyelash curler with me all day when I go out. If I apply it at home and then check a mirror outside, my lashes look thick and dark but uncurled. That's how weak its staying power is. - Lacks curling power After using a heated eyelash curler to achieve perfectly upright lashes, applying this product seems to make them droop again. Because of this, I mostly use this product only on my lower lashes. - It smudges It smudges easily. Unless it's completely dry, even blinking can cause smudging. When using this product, I've developed a compulsion to fan my eyes thoroughly until it's bone dry before I dare to close them, even if I tear up. The photos show the mascara wand, application on upper lashes only (excluding lower lashes), and then application on all lashes including lower ones. I applied it in a rush, so there's barely any eyeshadow and just a tiny bit of eyeliner. Please excuse that. When using this product, I always, always, ALWAYS use it with a lash fixer. It helps maintain the shape and gives a feeling of holding up droopy lashes. The fixer used in the photos is the Etude Doctor Mascara Fixer. The clean application makes it feel suitable for beginners or those who rarely use mascara. However, if you're looking for a more voluminous or long-lasting mascara, I wouldn't particularly recommend this one. If you do decide to use this mascara, I suggest having a lash fixer on hand. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 18, 2021
I feel like I've focused too much on the negatives, so I'll add this... The way the brush bends is actually quite interesting! I'd recommend this to those whose lashes hold a curl better than mine, and to anyone looking for a clean mascara application. At first, I was excited about the nice packaging and the unique thin brush that I'd never tried before... However, as someone with straight lashes and monolids, I'm not sure if it's just me, but the curl dropped as soon as I applied it. For those of us with monolids who need to open our eyes wide to look awake, a mascara without good curling power is basically just an eyebrow mascara. To make matters worse, I don't even have lower lashes to use this on. Pro tip: those with straight lashes might want to avoid this one. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 25, 2021
The thin brush allows for precise application. It feels a bit heavier than the Innisfree Skinny Mascara when applied. For someone like me with very straight, long, and thick lashes, the holding power was disappointingly weak. My lashes drooped within 10 minutes of application. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMar 16, 2021
1. The slim brush is great for precise application! It's easy to coat the lower lashes and apply mascara without it feeling heavy. 2. Perfect for those who prefer a natural makeup look rather than heavy eye makeup! 3. It's a great deal when you can get it as a buy-one-get-one-free offer. 1. The curling effect isn't particularly impressive. It doesn't excel in curling or enhancing lashes, mostly just adding color to your natural lashes. Not recommended for those with sparse lashes. 2. The amount of product seems quite small. It feels a bit overpriced unless you get it as part of a buy-one-get-one-free deal. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 10, 2020
The slim brush makes it easy to apply thoroughly to the front of the eyes and even the lower lashes! With fibers in a thick formula, each stroke lengthens and thickens your lashes as if you're extending them. This mascara is great for a light application without multiple touches, focusing more on lengthening than volumizing. It's also excellent for lower lashes. It's easy to remove with lukewarm water and doesn't smudge due to oil, so it has great staying power! If you find that even waterproof mascaras smudge due to oily skin, this film-type formula might work better for you. Due to its thick consistency, it can clump or get sticky easily, and it's heavy, so there's almost no curling effect (controlling the amount is crucial). Don't apply it right after taking out the wand - wipe it on a tissue first! This way, it feels less heavy and gives a more natural and beautiful lash look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 8, 2020
The small brush allows for precise application. The compact size of the product makes it convenient to carry in a makeup pouch. It's been a while since I've used a mascara that straightens out curled lashes like an iron. Accustomed to modern curling mascaras, I applied it quickly only to find my lashes becoming straight - like magic! This reminds me of old-school mascaras before formula improvements. For a trip down memory lane, I had to carefully sculpt each lash like in the old days. That's the only way to maintain any curl with this mascara. Don't expect the convenience of today's mascaras. Definitely not recommended for busy mornings. Utterly disappointing! I let my guard down because recent mascaras don't smudge, but Givenchy really dropped the ball here.
