I use this for exfoliating dead skin cells too! It has great cleansing effectiveness and suits my skin well. I really like it. You absolutely must go through the emulsification process thoroughly, and it's crucial to follow up with a second cleanse! Don't start rolling right away. Instead, spread it on your face first, wait about a minute, then start rolling. This helps remove sebum more effectively. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 16, 2024
It rolls on smoothly and seems to emulsify well. The cleansing effectiveness is also good. I'm not sure about its effectiveness in cleaning pores or removing blackheads. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 29, 2024
I tried a cleansing balm from another brand years ago, and now I've finally purchased Banila Co's cleansing balm! I had been using only cleansing oils, but with persistent blackheads and feeling that oils were a bit harsh, I decided to switch. I'm really satisfied with this change! I was torn between the pink and green versions but went for the green. My skin is prone to blemishes if I use the wrong products, and I have a lot of small bumps on my forehead along with stubborn blackheads. First off, this product's cleansing effectiveness is truly excellent! There's been talk about the scent, but I found it pleasant - it even has a hint of apple fragrance, I think? A little goes a long way, and it removes makeup thoroughly. I don't wear heavy makeup, but I'm particular about mascara removal, and this does the job wonderfully! While it hasn't made a huge difference with the forehead bumps, I've noticed my blackheads seem to be shrinking! I don't wear heavy makeup daily, so I use this balm either when I need a deep cleanse or every other day to target blackheads. When removing eye makeup, there's a slight sensation if it gets in your eyes, but it's not too bothersome. I definitely recommend this product! The only downside is a bit of discomfort if it gets in your eyes, but otherwise, I'm very satisfied. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 22, 2024
When used thoroughly, it effectively removes lip and eye makeup. The rolling motion feels less irritating on the skin! It removes makeup gently and works well for me personally! I have combination dehydrated skin that occasionally breaks out, but I feel like I get fewer blemishes when using this. I'm currently on my third jar. Well... since you scoop it out to use, it can be a bit of a hassle to keep the container clean (though this is probably expected with a balm-type product). - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 19, 2024
The cleansing effectiveness for makeup, mineral sunscreen, and other products is really impressive. If you emulsify it well, it's so thorough that you don't even need a second cleanse - it leaves no oily residue! I bought the green version instead of the pink original because it's supposed to be more effective for pores and blackheads. I use it on my nose 1-2 times a week where I have blackheads, and wow... there's a noticeable difference before and after. It really works hard! The price is a bit on the higher side? Oh, and the plastic case inside that's attached to the lid with the spatula is a bit stuck together, which is inconvenient. Make sure to emulsify really, really well for excellent cleansing effectiveness. You don't need to use a lot - it removes everything so effectively! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinApr 9, 2024
It's super convenient that it doesn't run down my arms when removing makeup. The cleansing effectiveness is excellent. I'm not sure about its ability to remove blackheads. It seems to just cleanse well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2024
I'm using this cleanser without any issues. Its cleansing effectiveness is great, and it seems to remove sebum well too. The container is a bit inconvenient. I wonder if it would be better in a tube form. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 6, 2024
I prefer using a cleansing balm instead of cleansing oil for my first cleanse. It effectively removes surface impurities, helping to thoroughly cleanse deep into the skin during the second cleanse. The Banila Co product seems to melt into the skin better and emulsify more quickly and easily compared to other brands' cleansing balms. I really appreciate that it has the mildest and gentlest scent among cleansing balms. Another great advantage is that they offer different types of cleansing balms for various skin types. There's a noticeable difference when using this compared to the original version. As someone with extremely oily skin, I often find that cleansing oils leave residue behind and can cause blemishes. However, with the green cleansing balm, I experience this issue much less. Oh, and I love that when you open the lid, there's a plastic cover where you can place the spatula. This prevents losing the spatula and makes it easy to carry around together. While the green cleansing balm is designed for oily skin, my skin is so extremely oily that I still need to do a second cleanse without fail. It's a bit disappointing that the cleansing balm alone doesn't remove everything perfectly, making a single cleanse insufficient. If cleansing oils don't work well for you, a cleansing balm could be a good alternative. They work similarly in emulsifying and dissolving sebum. Also, while using an alkaline cleansing foam might not be ideal, if you're looking for something with strong cleansing effectiveness, I think a cleansing balm followed by a cleansing foam could be a good option! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 5, 2024
Review / Product Recommendation Product: Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Pore Clarifying 100mL Price: From 14,820 won • Effectively removes dead skin cells, sebum, and makeup! Great cleansing effectiveness 👍 • Noticeably reduces blackheads • Comes with a spatula • Applies smoothly and leaves skin feeling fresh • Emulsifies well This is my go-to for the first step of my cleansing routine! I use it morning and night to remove mascara, makeup trapped in pores, dead skin cells, and sebum. As you keep massaging, you can feel the little grits of sebum coming out. The cleansing power is top-notch! Also, I noticed my blackheads disappearing at some point. Highly recommend for those struggling with blackheads. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product and plan to keep using it consistently in the future! The only downside is that it has a somewhat strong artificial scent. Even I, who'm not usually sensitive to fragrances, was a bit... surprised by it... I use it every time I cleanse my face, both morning and night! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinApr 2, 2024
It's gentle on the skin with excellent cleansing effectiveness. It removes makeup really well. There's nothing particularly disappointing, but it's meant for the first cleanse, so you'll need to follow up with a second cleanse.
