I've found it. My holy grail cleanser. I've been using this cleansing balm for years, container after container. For those with oily skin, I absolutely cannot recommend this enough, seriously...! I've been using only this for years. And specifically, just this green container from this line. It has a sorbet-like texture, and when you gently massage it in, it not only removes makeup but also pulls out all the sebum stuck in your pores. You can actually feel the sebum coming out. After using it, there's no dryness and your skin feels refreshed. Even my friend with dry skin tried this and exclaimed, 'All my sebum is gone!' in amazement. You absolutely must try this, I mean it. There's nothing I dislike about it. If I had to pick one thing, it's that when you do a second cleanse with a foaming cleanser after this balm, you need to rinse quite thoroughly. If you don't cleanse carefully, there can be a slightly slippery feeling left behind, so you need to be thorough with your cleansing. (But it's so good at removing sebum that I'm still satisfied despite this) If you focus on massaging the T-zone area, you'll feel the sebum just melting away. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 2, 2024
On the first day of use, I felt a slight improvement in my skin texture. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated after cleansing, similar to using a cleansing oil. I typically use long-lasting makeup products, and this cleanser effectively removes even mascara and eyeliner. Just massaging it gently all over makes cleansing a breeze. Another bonus is its solid form, which is perfect for travel. You can easily transfer some into a small container without worrying about spills - so convenient! The first downside is the applicator. It's not a pump like oil cleansers or a flip-top like makeup removers. You have to open the lid, grab the spatula, open the inner lid, scoop some out onto your hand, apply it to your face, close the inner lid, wipe off the balm from the spatula, put it away, and close the outer lid... I'm exhausted just writing about it! Since it's a cleansing product, you have to be extra careful not to get it everywhere as it can make things slippery. This might be its worst drawback. The second issue is that it stings if it gets in your eyes. Ironically, while we use balm cleansers to remove eye makeup effectively, it's too harsh to use around the eyes comfortably. It's not just a mild discomfort - it really stings! I don't even have particularly sensitive skin, so if you have sensitive eyes, please think twice before using this! As this is a basic cleansing product, there aren't any special tips to share. Use it like you would a cleansing oil: apply it to dry skin with dry hands, massage thoroughly, then add water to emulsify. Rinse off and follow up with a second cleanse. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 28, 2024
Effectively dissolves sebum, making it great for oily skin types. It also removes stubborn makeup like mascara with ease. Being an oil-based product, it may leave a slippery feeling if used as the sole cleanser. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinDec 17, 2023
I felt a significant improvement in my pores and blackheads compared to other products I've used Even after thoroughly rinsing, there's a slightly slippery feeling left on the skin, which seems unavoidable with this product - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 14, 2023
It effectively removes foundation and eye makeup, leaving your skin clean and fresh Storing the spatula can be a bit tricky, and if you're not a fan of the slippery texture, you might want to follow up with a second cleanse - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 15, 2023
Since I only wear sunscreen, it removes makeup easily. Great! Also, it's noticeable how well it emulsifies. I bought this after a male YouTuber recommended it. After emulsifying, my face feels slippery. So a second cleanse with a foam cleanser is a must. It also seems to cause some breakouts. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMay 29, 2023
Just a heads up - my review is based on my personal experience! Skin type: Combination with frequent blemishes (teenager) Usage period: Currently using for about 1-2 months Pros: After using this, my blemishes calm down dramatically! I used to have a lot of blemishes on my forehead and whiteheads on my nose and chin, which was really stressful. But after using the Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm for just 2-3 days, they noticeably subsided! I tend to massage for a long time, and I'm really satisfied that it doesn't irritate my skin at all. It's also great at removing makeup, and even helps with blemishes and whiteheads! I've tried many other cleansing balms, but this one is truly amazing, which is why I'm leaving this review. The sherbet-like texture applies effortlessly! Seriously... you have to try this! Cons: Being a cleansing balm, it does feel a bit slippery when washing off. This was slightly inconvenient, but its cleansing effectiveness is so good that I still recommend it! Pro tip: Since it's not irritating to my skin, I can massage for a long time without issues! I find that massaging after showering or bathing helps remove impurities from the skin more effectively. There are many other products out there, but from my experience, they all feel similar, so just choose whichever one appeals to you! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 12, 2023
I've been using this product exclusively since a friend recommended it, and I'm already on my second bottle! It's almost gone! This product seems to be so gentle (or maybe it just suits me well) that I don't get any blemishes after using it. When I'm too lazy to use eye makeup remover, I use this to remove everything, and it works incredibly well (I don't wear mascara, so I can't speak to that). If I massage the areas around my nose and T-zone, I can feel something grainy, and after doing this diligently, I notice fewer blackheads. There's a slight scent, which I don't mind, but if you're sensitive to fragrances, I recommend checking it out in-store before buying. It melts makeup so well, removing it smoothly without feeling thick or heavy. The finish feels slightly slippery, so I follow up with a foam cleanser. Be careful not to get it in your eyes - it can make them cloudy and cause a burning sensation! Don't forget to emulsify with water! I'm sure most of you know this, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 8, 2023
It seemed effective for managing blackheads, and I didn't experience any irritation There wasn't anything particularly disappointing, but I did notice a slightly slippery feeling after cleansing - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 22, 2023
I tried this because it's famous, and it's more hydrating and easier to remove compared to other creams or oils! Since it's a balm, those who dislike slippery textures might want to pass. Other than that, everything else is great.
