The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous! Depending on how much you apply, you can achieve either a vibrant red or a natural lip color. It does transfer a bit to your teeth, but aside from that, it's really fantastic! Don't expect too much in terms of hydration. It works best when used together with another lip balm! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinAug 26, 2020
I received this product as a gift last year. Initially, I didn't expect much since it was labeled as a lip balm, but I was pleasantly surprised by its impressive color payoff when I applied it. As someone whose lips tend to get dry frequently, I found that applying it whenever I remembered actually helped improve my dead skin cells! I've since repurchased it several times and even bought multiple shades because I liked it so much! It's perfect for those days when you're in a rush - just swipe it on and go. I'm really satisfied with it. Plus, the price is reasonable, making it a great option for students too. Being a lip balm, it does transfer. It melts very easily in heat! I once left it in my pocket during summer, and when I took it out, it had melted. The color is quite intense, so those expecting a sheer tint might be surprised if they buy it thinking it's just a regular lip balm! If you're looking for a subtle effect, I'd recommend trying a different shade! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 15, 2020
The perfect red shade for cool skin tones. It applies smoothly with a moisturizing feel, leaving your lips soft and supple. I even use it as a base before applying lipstick. For a lip balm, the color payoff is quite intense. It transfers easily. Due to its moisturizing nature, it wears off quickly, requiring frequent reapplication. Still, the color is so pretty, it's worth it! Great as a base for lip makeup or as a quick pick-me-up during exam periods. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 22, 2020
Innisfree Glow Tint Lip Balm Review Color: Despite being named 'Rose', it's not your classic red. It's more of a blood-red hue with a slight hint of burgundy. Think less bright red, more deep, rich blood-like red. Moisture: True to its lip balm nature, it's wonderfully hydrating with a decent color payoff. It's perfect for rescuing dry, sickly-looking lips when used alone. Layered over a tint, it helps maintain moisture in winter. I'll be honest, this product used to sit unused in my collection (I was a matte lip devotee). But recently, I've been drawn to more hydrating lip products, so I rediscovered this gem. The glow is incredible! I used to apply it straight from the stick, but after it broke once, I melted it with a hairdryer and put it in an empty container. I found that instead of swiping it on thickly, applying thin layers like a tint gives an absolutely stunning glow. Transfer and Wear: Being a moisturizing lip balm, transfer is inevitable, which can be inconvenient. If worn alone, it might disappear quickly when eating or drinking. While it does leave a stain, it's not as long-lasting as a tint. It gives more of a 'healthy bare lips' look (which is expected for a color lip balm). Lasting Hydration: The moisturizing effect doesn't last very long, maybe about 2-3 hours. The glow also fades along with the hydration. If you're looking for a quick swipe for a bare-faced look, this works well on its own. For a hydrating pop of color, try layering it over a tint. I found that applying thin layers works better than swiping on the whole stick. Start from the center of your lips and work your way out for that beautiful glow you see in the photo. (By the way, in the photo, I applied a layer of Vaseline first, then the lip balm starting from the inner part of my lips.) - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 12, 2020
The color is a beautiful pink-red that looks natural and perfect for a bare-faced look. The staying power is disappointing. It transfers easily onto cups and while it starts off glowy, it tends to dry out over time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 6, 2020
1. As a lip balm with color, it's great for adding life to your lips when they're dry! 2. The color is more intense than typical tinted lip balms, making it suitable for use as a lip tint too! 3. It leaves a slight stain and the color stays true to what you see in the tube! 1. Due to its moisturizing formula, it tends to transfer easily. It leaves more marks on your mask compared to other products. 2. It's in a tricky middle ground - while it's a lip balm for dry lips, it's not quite suitable as a lipstick for important occasions. I think this is a great product for daily use. When you apply it after light makeup, it adds a lively touch while providing the moisturizing benefits of a lip balm. It leaves your lips feeling hydrated! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 16, 2019
It's a clear red-pink shade that leaves a lovely pink tint. It looks beautiful applied both on its own and as a gradient. The downside is that it's quite moisturizing, which means it tends to transfer easily. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 22, 2018
If you're looking to create a natural lip look rather than a bold one, I highly recommend this. It's wonderfully moisturizing! It's a bit disappointing that it transfers easily. I'd suggest waiting for a sale before purchasing. Instead of applying it all at once, it's best to gently pat it on little by little for the best results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2018
First off, I was impressed by how moisturizing it was. Usually, my lips are so chapped that I need to layer on a lot of lip balm over my tint, but this wasn't necessary with this product. Unfortunately, it transfers too much. It was a bit inconvenient as it would leave marks on cups when I was drinking. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 4, 2018
I love that it works as both a tint and a lip balm. The color payoff is nice, and it's so moisturizing that it doesn't cause much flaking on my lips. I've been using it casually without any worries! Because it's so hydrating, it tends to smudge easily and comes off a bit when eating.
