Pros

I've used face concealer before, but this was my first time trying it on lips and eyes. It definitely made a difference! Applying concealer before lipstick made the color pop more vividly. Using it on my eyelids before eyeshadow was a game-changer too! I always felt like my eyeshadow faded over time, but this seems to be the perfect solution. I think I'll be using this technique regularly now.

It seems to be quite effective in killing lip color. It has a slightly firmer feel than regular petroleum jelly.

I don't think I had any particular issues, but it was a bit less soft, which I think would have made it more comfortable to use. It was a bit too soft, so tints or lipsticks might have slipped around. It was a bit too sticky and moisturizing, rather than slippery... The fixing power wasn't great enough. But I think it claims to have moisturizing effects, though I'm not sure about that.

Tip

I just use a brush. When using my fingers, it doesn't apply as evenly and tends to wipe off. I prefer to dab it on with a brush, pat it in, and let it set for a bit before applying.

☆Please note that my personal opinions are heavily reflected in the high scores given by some reviewers, resulting in a slightly lower rating from me.☆ Coverage - When I apply the lip product to my lips, my natural lip color is somewhat ambiguous, so the product doesn't seem to capture the original color well. I tried using a foundation to cover my uneven lip color, and since I only have a glowy formula, I gave it a try. I'm glad it was able to nicely cover my ambiguous lip color, and the lip product itself applies true to its original shade, which I really like. Multiple uses? - The concealer is meant for coverage, so I tried dabbing it on some small blemishes, and while the coverage is not super strong, it does have decent coverage.

Cons

Accentuates flakiness - The matte and slightly tacky formula really emphasizes any flakiness on my lips. Whenever there's even a little bit of lip flakiness, it's a complete disaster. Even with diligent care, I can't seem to get rid of the flakiness, especially in the winter, so these days I just keep it in my vanity drawer and don't use it. Lasting power - My natural lip color comes back within an hour, and the lip product I had applied on top is almost completely gone in just that short time. Lip adhesion - When I apply this and then try to layer a lip product on top, the lip product doesn't adhere at all. Even with products known for their high adhesion, I've experienced this issue where it just doesn't stick.

The price was affordable, the amount was generous, and the texture was pleasing to me. When I rubbed it with my hands, it melted slightly and applied smoothly. The finish had a slightly silky adherence. I went to test lip products, but ended up liking this one so much that I bought it haha The color is nice, so I think it would also work well as a concealer!

I was always so sad that I had to use full lips because of what I call my 'black lips' (?) but I was moved when I saw this product. Now I can do a gradient (thump thump) I recommend this to anyone who worries about black lips. Oh, and the case is super cute too, and it's completely moisturizing.

After applying, if you put tint on top, the staining doesn't really work well ㅠㅠㅠ

Tip

I think it's good to apply concealer to the brownish lip line and do a gradient from the inside out!
