When my skin feels dry or before applying makeup, this product works wonders. It helps my makeup adhere better and by the next day, my skin looks clearer. The gold content keeps my skin hydrated and feeling great. If you have oily skin, this might make your skin feel even more greasy. It's probably better suited for those with dry or combination skin types.

After using it, you get this delightfully firm feeling. The packaging is pretty, and the gold inside gives it a visually appealing touch. The dropper format makes it clean and hygienic too. It seems to help with firming to some extent. The scent isn't overpowering either. I love that the gold dissolves well, so you don't need to spend a lot of time blending or worry about clumps. It pairs wonderfully with the cream from the same line when bought as a set! It's hydrating without being dry, and most importantly, it doesn't cause any tingling sensation, which I really appreciate! I applied just a tiny bit near my eyes and it stung quite badly. Also, the rubber on the dropper breaks easily. It's too heavy for daytime use and makes makeup pill. It's definitely best to apply it only at night! If you apply it generously at night, your skin will be in great condition for makeup the next day. Never apply it in the morning or before putting on makeup!

As someone with combination skin, I prefer products that absorb quickly, and this one does just that. It absorbs well, which I really appreciate. While it absorbs quickly, I'm not sure I'd describe it as rich for an ampoule. To be honest, like most anti-aging and brightening products, don't expect dramatic results. This one's no different.
