As someone who absolutely loves taking baths, I've lost count of how many times I've used this product. It has a salt-like texture, but it's softer and dissolves beautifully in water. The fragrance is truly amazing too! After finishing my bath, the scent lingers around the bathroom, putting me in a great mood. It contains minerals that your skin can absorb during the bath. When I use this product, I sweat much more than during a regular bath, leaving me feeling refreshed afterwards. There's even clinical evidence suggesting it helps with calf swelling. I can definitely confirm that on days when my legs feel heavy and swollen, using this helps reduce the puffiness. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys baths or foot soaks! While it's a bit disappointing that it contains potential allergens, since it's used on the body, I personally didn't experience any allergic reactions. It's great to mix with hair treatments for exfoliating the scalp and removing dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 9, 2021
I bought Dr. Teal's bath soak because it was supposed to be a safe choice, but oh, how wrong I was... After pouring in the bath soak and dissolving it, about 5 minutes into my bath, my skin started itching terribly. Some areas even turned red and became inflamed. I'm curious why people say they like it. Everyone raves about Dr. Teal's moisturizing properties, but I didn't see any hydration benefits at all. I think choosing Anoha would have been a better option. Spend a little more and get something better for your skin. I absolutely do not recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. If you're going to use Dr. Teal's, make sure to dissolve the crystals completely until there are no granules left. The scent wasn't overpowering, just subtle. If it had been stronger, it might have smelled like my dad's aftershave. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedOct 17, 2020
I bought this for foot soaks, but I was worried about how it might affect my sensitive skin. As soon as I opened it, I felt an instant sense of relaxation. The granules dissolve completely in warm water, just like salt, leaving no residue - which I loved. Wanting to use it as a scrub, I dampened it slightly and found it gentle and non-irritating when massaged on the skin. After the foot soak, my feet felt lighter, more hydrated, and I experienced a soothing drowsiness that seemed to melt away my fatigue. I think it would be perfect to use again on a tiring day! There's just one small drawback - the packaging. It's a bit inconvenient. It comes in a ziplock bag, but the granules tend to get stuck in the zipper, which can be annoying. If they could improve this aspect, it would be perfect. For best results, start by soaking your feet in warm water to soften them. Then use Dr. Teal's salt as a scrub before dissolving it in the water for a full foot soak. It works wonders this way! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2020
During the pandemic, I was constantly busy taking care of my three kids (10, 7, and 4 years old) at home, leaving no time for myself. This product became a small oasis of relaxation for me. I personally love lavender scent - I even use lavender shampoo. The moment I opened it, I fell in love with the fragrance. As soon as I unsealed it and saw the fluffy salt, I immediately poured some into a basin and started a foot soak. As I've gotten older, my feet have become drier with more dead skin cells, and running around after the kids leaves my feet and calves swollen by bedtime. After using it for a few days, my feet felt more hydrated and the swelling in my calves seemed to improve. It was wonderful how it melted away stress and fatigue. I used to toss and turn at night, but now I sleep like a baby. I think this product would be great for the whole family, regardless of age or gender. After trying it, the downside I found was that the packaging is a ziplock bag, which became difficult to close after use because salt granules got stuck in the seal. It wouldn't close in one go, so I had to transfer the product to another container. It would be nice if it came with a scoop to measure out the right amount for each use. When trying to pour it out, sometimes too much would suddenly spill out, making it hard to control the amount. This bath salt seems suitable for everyone, regardless of age or gender. It would be even more enjoyable to use with your family. You can also use it as a scrub - mixing it with body wash or shower gel works great for removing dead skin cells. It seems to be more effective when used with warm water. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 17, 2020
The best part is that everyone from babies to children to adults can use it together. It's truly the best family bath product that the whole family can enjoy. It even helps with dead skin cell removal, which is fantastic! I heard it was great for heel and foot care, and it really is amazing. With three kids ranging from 1 to 8 years old, we create a family bath where mom and dad can join in the water play too. The lavender scent is delightfully subtle. We kept sniffing it because it smells so good! It's a refill pack, so you need to transfer it to a container for use. The zipper closure works well, but that's not really an issue since you'll be pouring it into a container anyway. It's suitable for all skin types, even for babies with delicate skin. Everyone in our family, from mom to the kids, has dry and eczema-prone skin, and it works well for all of us. It's especially great to add to the bathtub or pool when the children are playing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 11, 2020
The subtle lavender scent that wafts out as soon as you open it is perfect for a bath soak. Knowing that lavender has calming effects, sitting in warm water enveloped by this gentle fragrance naturally melts away fatigue. It works as a scrub and gives a massage effect at the same time. My feet smell lovely and look so bright now! It dissolves quickly, so you need to be swift when using it as a scrub! The zipper can be tricky to close sometimes, and it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't come with a scoop. Dr. Teal's is great on its own, but for an extra massage effect, try using it with some oil. It works wonders! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 9, 2020
My muscles were feeling a bit tense and fatigue was building up, so I often take a half-body bath to relieve the tiredness. I tried Dr. Teal's, starting with the mild lavender scent, as it's known for its pleasant aroma and help with reducing swelling. The ingredients are gentle enough that even kids can use it safely. The fragrance is so lovely that after a foot soak, the bathroom smelled amazing. The salt has a nice texture, making it good for scrubbing, and it truly excels at easing tension - it's absolutely fantastic! There wasn't anything particularly bad, but the ziplock bag was a bit weak and tore when opening. It should be fine if you're careful when opening it. It's helpful to dissolve some in a basin and soak your feet lightly while using the bathroom. It could become a nice habit to do after coming home from work! When taking a half-body bath, don't dissolve all the salt at once. Instead, rub it on your skin like a scrub while it dissolves - you'll get two benefits in one! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 31, 2020
The scent is lovely, with a delightfully fragrant aroma. When dissolved in water, the color is beautiful too. The fragrance doesn't last long. It's a bit too much to use every single day. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2020
I love the lavender scent, and it's great to mix with body wash for a nice scrub There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's perfect for a relaxing half-body soak when you're tired - cr****Combination SkinRecommendedAug 10, 2020
Having used Dr. Teal's Lavender Scrub for a long time, I trusted this bath product and gave it a try! As expected, the subtle lavender scent that lingers for a long time made it even better. The texture was like salt with transparent granules, and it dissolved easily in water, which was great. When used for half-body or foot baths, it made my skin smooth and provided hydration. It gives me a relaxed feeling, so it's definitely a healing item for me. While the de-puffing effect isn't dramatically visible, I'm more satisfied with the various ways this salt can be used. There's nothing particularly disappointing, but if I had to pick one thing, it would be nice if it came with a small spoon. The instructions said to use about two paper cups for a bath, but I found that even one cup was sufficient. When using it as a scrub while showering, I mixed about two teaspoons with my body wash. This method was more convenient than using the original Dr. Teal's scrub product, which I personally preferred.
