This lip gloss is absolutely gorgeous - it's my holy grail! I've tried so many lip glosses, but this one is by far the prettiest! I love that it doesn't give an overly oily shine, but instead provides a natural, moisturizing sparkle. The pearl in it has a slightly cool tone, which subtly brightens up your face when applied. It's just so beautiful, I hope they never discontinue it! Oh, and the packaging is lovely too! The price is a bit on the higher side, but the quality of the product justifies it. You can apply it over your lipstick for an extra touch of shine.

The pearl particles aren't overwhelming, just enough to give a subtle sparkle on the lips! Think of it as a lip gloss meant primarily for shine and creating a moisturizing barrier on your lips. ■Texture/Longevity: The formula is surprisingly rich! It has a luxurious feel, which might be hit or miss for those who don't like heavy lip products. If you're expecting a light, thin moisturizing feel like a lip oil, you might find this a bit heavy. ■Value for money: Hmm... Dear Dahlia is quite pricey. If you've got cash to splash on a clear lip gloss, go for it. Otherwise, I'd recommend Rom&nd's pearl lip gloss! The texture might be divisive, and honestly, there are similar quality products at lower price points. So I can't say it's the best bang for your buck. It's sticky and the formula feels quite heavy, leaving a somewhat suffocating coating on the lips. Also, the applicator picks up too little product. This could work well for creating a glossy eye look too!

The color, shimmer, and overall feel are all fantastic. The brand itself is cruelty-free and vegan, so you can use it with peace of mind knowing no animals were harmed in the process. I honestly couldn't find any downsides while using this product. For lip gloss formulations, I apply them to the back of my hand first before putting them on my lips to avoid contaminating the product.
