  I tried retinol for the first time, and it noticeably reduced my pores! If you can actually feel the difference, that's a sign it's working well, right? I was a bit nervous because I'd heard retinol products can be harsh, but this serum-type formula was surprisingly gentle on my cheeks, despite its high retinol content.

  Cons

  However, I wanted to tackle some eye wrinkles, so I applied it under my eyes. By evening, the area had darkened as if I'd been burned! I'd recommend avoiding the eye and mouth areas when using this product.

  With consistent use, I feel like it's really helping to improve my pores. Not sure about wrinkles though.

  I bought this focusing more on improving acne scars and skin texture rather than active blemishes. I think my pores might have gotten a bit smaller and my skin texture seems better...? Some people say it's quite irritating, but I've used it almost daily without any issues. Even when I used it alongside a salicylic acid foam cleanser, my skin didn't become sensitive. I just avoided using it when I used a separate exfoliator~

  Cons

  I've been keeping consistent records, but since I didn't see much difference, I decided to post before and after photos. There's a big difference in lighting (the first photo shows both cheeks before use / the second photo shows both cheeks currently), but can you see any changes? I can't really tell. I tried it after seeing reviews about getting 'egg-shell smooth' skin, but... Also, the finish is a bit sticky.

  Pros

  Highly recommended holy grail (but requires an adjustment period) I shudder to think what I'd do without this - it's truly a holy grail product. I used to stress over small blemishes and clogged pores, but since using this, I can't feel any more blackheads or whiteheads on my face. I'm so happy to have smooth, glowing skin every day. People around me have been asking why my skin looks so much better. Even I can see how much brighter my complexion has become. However, this product definitely needs an adjustment period. I read online that retinol takes at least a month to really work its magic and show results. Since my skin was quite sensitive at one point, I was a bit nervous. But I followed the precautions: don't use too often, use only a tiny amount, always apply sunscreen the next day, etc. At first, my skin actually got worse. Little bumps appeared all over my face. I considered stopping, but decided to stick with it for a month. Using it only once every 5-7 days, after a few weeks the effects started to show like magic.

  Cons

  Some people say it makes their face too dry or causes a burning sensation! Fortunately, I didn't experience any of that. If you have super sensitive skin, contact dermatitis, or redness, it's best to calm your skin first before using this product.

  Tip

  Use only once every 5-7 days. Don't use too much - just one pump, about the size of a small bean, for the whole face. My current skincare routine is: Epitetos toner -> Aestura MD cream -> Sunscreen when going out On retinol serum days, I apply this serum first At night, after applying all my products, I put Noscarnaointment all over my face before bed.
