Great texture and you can get a pure retinol product at an affordable price. It oxidized just two weeks after opening. I was worried about it going bad, so I quickly used it, immediately closed the lid, and stored it in the product box to block light. Despite these precautions, the color noticeably changed. I'm not sure if the previous black container had an airless pump, but it seemed to deteriorate more slowly back then. Sigh. I've even seen unopened products that have oxidized. Initially, I used a small amount every 2-3 days due to concerns about irritation. Recently, I've been using it daily. My skin seems clearer now. The packaging is disappointing. It always leaks a bit after just one flight. It can't withstand the pressure changes. Of course, the outer transparent lid does offer some protection.

The thin consistency makes it easy to apply. I haven't tried the renewed version, though it seems to have been updated. How to put it... When you have severe dead skin cell buildup, it works incredibly well. However, for normal, average skin, it's quite a harsh product. I only use it when my skin is in really bad shape, otherwise I avoid it. That's why I've only used it once or twice before discarding. This is the only retinol product I use. It doesn't cause any blemishes and provides great hydration. After applying, it causes an unbearable itching sensation that's hard to endure.

It has a high retinol content, but there's no irritation at all! It's so amazing. Maybe it's because it's a serum, but I really, really, really love it. My skin doesn't hurt at all. Usually, if retinol doesn't agree with you, your skin can peel and go crazy, but there's none of that with this product! Sidmool is a brand you can trust, they're the best! The cap is a bit... unusual. It's a push-forward type, which is slightly inconvenient, but that's really the only issue. I have thick skin that's also super sensitive. When I used The Ordinary's 1% Retinol, my skin went haywire, so I switched to this and I'm extremely satisfied. Other people have noticed immediate effects too (they say my skin looks better). This might be a bit much for first-time retinol users, so it's probably better for skin that's already somewhat adapted to retinol (I've used many retinol products before and my skin is accustomed to it). If you have sensitive skin but want to try retinol, this is the perfect starter product! It's a really gentle retinol that you can use without any hesitation. The formula is a thin essence with a slightly yellow tint. It spreads easily and absorbs well, leaving no sticky feeling. You can use it day or night, but since sun protection is crucial when using retinol, I personally only use it as part of my nighttime routine! I was pleased that it wasn't irritating despite containing 1.1% active ingredient. Even with sensitive skin, I didn't experience any major blemishes. First off, it has a somewhat chemical scent, though it's not as noticeable when applying. I tried retinol for the first time, and it noticeably reduced my pores! If you can actually feel the difference, that's a sign it's working well, right? I was a bit nervous because I'd heard retinol products can be harsh, but this serum-type formula was surprisingly gentle on my cheeks, despite its high retinol content. However, I wanted to tackle some eye wrinkles, so I applied it under my eyes. By evening, the area had darkened as if I'd been burned! Despite being my first time using it, it absorbs gently without irritation, leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated It doesn't seem to have any noticeable effects, so I probably won't repurchase it

The oil and moisture balance feels just right. The next day, my makeup went on smoothly, and I noticed my blemishes seemed a bit calmer. Not recommended when your skin is in poor condition. It can cause breakouts or tiny bumps. Don't use it too frequently! For sensitive skin, I suggest using it only once or twice a week. They say retinol works best when used alone. However, since I have super sensitive skin, I mix one pump with my cream and apply it as the last step in my skincare routine. I start by applying it around the outer areas of my face, then pat the remainder onto my T-zone. The next day, my complexion looks great and my makeup applies beautifully.
