It has a slight white cast, which gives a nice brightening effect. Even though I have oily skin, it didn't make me greasy, which I really liked.
ConsIt stings my skin a little. After applying, my face gets a bit red. I guess it doesn't suit my skin type. It also makes my eyes feel slightly irritated.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I always check ingredients before buying cosmetics, and this one had great ingredients. Interestingly, when I bought it, it only had good ingredients, but it seems like the formulation might have changed, which is a bit odd.
ConsIf you have extremely dry skin, you might feel a slight tingling sensation due to dryness when using this. I noticed it stung a bit when my skin was dehydrated. For those with dry skin, it might work better if you apply it after layering on a solid hydrating base.

I personally prefer no white cast, so it was great for me! Absorbs well: It feels like it's quickly absorbed into the skin. No pilling or separation: I applied cushion foundation or brightening moisturizer over the sunscreen, and there was absolutely no pilling or separation with either.
ConsThe staying power seems a bit shorter when applying cushion foundation over the sunscreen. So I applied cushion to my cheeks and upper mask area, but used only sunscreen on my forehead (where I have bangs) and neck where I don't use cushion. While it was fine on my arms, it stung quite badly when applied to my forehead and neck. At first, I thought it was due to another product, but even when I only applied the sunscreen, it was so irritating that I had to wipe it off with a wet wipe. I don't think I can use it on my face, so I'll probably use it as a body sunscreen instead.

ConsIt stings and dries out my face when applied. Also, there's a rose-like scent that's really bothersome.

It didn't cause any blemishes and there was hardly any white cast.
ConsDepending on my skin condition, it sometimes felt tingly and caused deep dryness...

I tried two different sunscreens, but this one had better staying power. I noticed we got significantly less sunburned when reapplying it throughout our play time. The sample sizes they included were perfect for carrying around.
ConsIt started to cause a tingling sensation after multiple applications. Because of this, neither the kids nor I wanted to keep using it continuously.

First off, I've settled on this product as my go-to sunblock (except for the dead of winter). Let me explain why: * Skin type: Combination-dry (T-zone with whiteheads, dry U-zone) 1. Skin-friendly ingredients Being pregnant, I'm extra cautious about ingredients. This product is formulated with gentle components, giving me peace of mind. I'll likely continue using it post-pregnancy too! 2. Mineral sunscreen benefits without the drawbacks The only sunscreen I've repurchased was from Lancôme, but it was pricey with questionable ingredients and often made in Japan, which made me uneasy. Other products always fell short in some way (A24 was sticky, Dr.G and Dewytree were unbearably drying, Dr. Jart caused a tingling sensation, and others had ingredient concerns). This A-True product is a mineral sunscreen without the white cast. It feels light like an emulsion, doesn't irritate the eyes, and offers high UV protection (SPF50+, PA++++). As you can see from the texture photo, it's more of a sun emulsion than a cream. I was worried about dryness, but with a good skincare base, it holds up well even under air conditioning. 3. Excellent makeup base In summer, I keep my skincare light. For my combination-dry skin, I finish with Physiogel cream on dry areas and use a light cushion foundation. This sunblock works perfectly in between, preventing makeup from caking or pilling. I love that it doesn't pill even when I apply the recommended amount. The lightweight feel is comfortable too. I have some whiteheads in my T-zone, which can be emphasized by some base products. This sunblock barely accentuates them at all! 4. Fresh feel My favorite aspects are the application and feel. Even on bare skin with just skincare, this product provides enough tone correction for daily wear (with minimal white cast). It applies smoothly and feels moisturizing. After using this, I can't bring myself to use heavier creams anymore!
Cons1. Slight dryness (and mild tingling) While I've decided to stick with this sunblock, as someone with combination-dry skin, I do notice a bit of dryness. This might be why I feel a slight tingling sensation, but it's much less noticeable compared to other mineral sunscreens. It's manageable now, but might be more noticeable in winter. I think it'll be fine through autumn with a solid skincare routine underneath. Those with oily skin should have no issues using this. 2. Potentially divisive scent There's a grassy smell with a slightly peculiar note. On my hand, it's mostly a pleasant herbal scent, but on my face, it can be a bit off-putting. However, the scent doesn't linger long, and the residual fragrance on my hand is nice. It's not a major drawback, especially since it's better than artificial fragrances. * Honestly, I'm so satisfied with this product that I struggle to find real cons. However, those with extremely dry skin might find it too drying.
TipMy morning routine: After cleansing with water, I use Dokdo toner, Dalba White Truffle Mist Serum, Physiogel cream, and then this sunblock. Adjust your skincare base according to your skin type - lighter for oily skin, richer for dry skin. I'm very satisfied with this sunblock - it's the first I've found that offers such high UV protection while feeling so fresh!

So, I was looking for a gentle mineral sunscreen and bought this one at a great price during an app sale. Pros: It absorbs well into the skin and doesn't cause pilling with makeup. As a gentle mineral sunscreen, it doesn't irritate my eyes, which I'm very satisfied with. It provides a light brightening effect, making it convenient for quick trips to the store. It keeps my T-zone matte for a long time, so I highly recommend it for oily skin. For combination skin like mine, it's very satisfying as long as you manage the hydration in your U-zone well.
ConsA little while after application, my U-zone starts to feel tight, dry, and slightly tingly. It might be challenging for those with dry skin. The 50ml size also seems a bit small.
TipI apply moisturizer more thoroughly during my skincare routine.
