It's just right, not too much. I've tried several low pH cleansers, but some felt too heavy. Some lacked that refreshing feel, had weak cleansing power, or were too slippery. But this one is great. I thought Innisfree's was the best until now, but this is also good. Actually, I loved Innisfree's Blueberry Foam so much I even used it to wash my hair sometimes! But in terms of cleansing effectiveness, this one's also great (though I only used it on my face). No irritation and no blemishes while using it.
ConsThe lather is a bit lacking... It's not a rich, creamy foam.
TipThis isn't exactly a pro tip, but - I have dry skin, so I usually go overboard with skincare. I often reapply cream in the afternoon because my face feels tight. So at night, I need to apply thick, oily creams to avoid dryness in the morning. But using such creams every night can lead to a build-up on my face after 3-4 days. That's why using only super gentle cleansers isn't always the answer. When I got obsessed with low pH cleansers and used them exclusively, I actually broke out. Among low pH cleansers, you need one with good cleansing power - less moisturizing - to remove those thick creams. Use a regular alkaline foam once or twice a week too. It's better to have 2-3 cleansers open and switch between them depending on your skin's condition, rather than sticking to just one.

It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry, and there's no residue left behind.
ConsThe scent isn't particularly pleasant, and it doesn't create a rich, luxurious lather.

The big plus is that it definitely deep cleanses, reducing sebum and dead skin cells!
ConsAfter cleansing, even with my oily skin, I can feel it's a bit drying. If you have any small cuts or open blemishes on your skin, it stings a little. Also, being a liquid formula, it doesn't create a rich lather.

I received this product as a free sample through an event and have been using it since. My skin typically experiences blemishes around my mouth before my period, bumpy blemishes on my forehead, and occasional breakouts on my cheeks when I'm tired. While this product didn't magically make all my blemishes disappear, it did help calm redness. I appreciate that it's low pH, which makes it gentle and non-irritating. Although it's called a foam, it has a gel-like texture that lathers up nicely when mixed with water. It took some getting used to, but now I really like it. Among low pH cleansers, I think this one has the best cleansing effectiveness. Due to its gentleness, I mainly use it in the morning. After use, I love that there's minimal deep dryness!
ConsHowever, as many have mentioned, the scent is reminiscent of rice wine or some kind of alcohol, which I didn't like. Also, it doesn't produce a rich lather.

I had trouble receiving the package at first, but it turns out another house had accepted it. I finally got it after a delayed text notification. The product feels gentle on the skin - I noticed its mildness right from the first use. It doesn't feel irritating at all on my combination skin. My T-zone is slightly oily, and my U-zone is a bit dry, and my skin can get sensitive depending on the season. For my morning cleanse, it's perfect! I always use a cleansing foam as water alone causes blemishes for me. This cleanser doesn't leave my skin feeling dry, but instead gives just the right amount of hydration. It's not too heavy for morning use, leaving my skin in an ideal state.
ConsThe scent is quite divisive - it's like tea tree, flowers, or herbs? Personally, I'm not a fan. Also, I don't like the feeling of residue after cleansing, and I prefer a squeaky clean feel. This one leaves a slightly slick feeling, as if not all the oil has been washed away. A second cleanse is necessary. The foam isn't very rich, so using a foam net for an evening second cleanse might work well. The packaging was a struggle to open at first - I had a hard time with it.
TipI recommend this more for morning cleansing rather than evening. The scent is a matter of personal preference, and I didn't like it. If you're looking for rich lather, you'll need a foam net. And if you want that squeaky clean feeling, I wouldn't recommend this product.

It's great how my face feels less tight after washing!
ConsThe lather isn't very rich, and because it's so gentle, I didn't get that squeaky-clean feeling. I wasn't sure if I'd rinsed off all the foam.
TipUsing a foam net to create lather might work well with this cleanser!

The fragrance is pleasant and soothing. A single pump provides enough product for a thorough cleanse. If you use this throughout spring and summer, you'll likely notice improvements in cleansing effectiveness and oil control. Perfect for those seeking a mild cleansing foam!
ConsThe foam isn't as rich as shown in the product images. So far, I haven't noticed much improvement in managing excess oil on my T-zone and chin area. The deeply embedded impurities in my skin seem difficult to remove.

Ingredients I appreciate that this product doesn't contain any harmful ingredients or fragrances that could irritate the skin. The use of gentle cleansing agents like lauryl hydroxysultaine, lauryl glucoside, sodium lauryl glucose carboxylate, and sodium chloride right after purified water shows that this product is designed to protect the skin barrier. Additionally, the inclusion of linoleic acid helps with sebum control, making it a low-irritation cleanser with oil-balancing properties. 2. Cleansing Effectiveness The clear liquid gel doesn't foam as much as other foam products, but it's sufficient for cleansing. Despite being a low pH cleanser, which often compromises cleansing power to protect the skin barrier, this product manages to cleanse effectively without leaving a slippery residue. It leaves the skin feeling refreshed without stripping it completely. While it may not be powerful enough for heavy makeup or waterproof sunscreen, it's perfect as a second cleanse. 3. Pump Bottle and Volume The transparent bottle makes it easy to see how much product is left. The pump dispenser is more convenient and hygienic than other types of packaging, as you don't need to open and close a cap. It's particularly useful when the product is almost finished, allowing you to use every last drop easily. The generous 190ml volume makes it economical to use.
Cons1. Scent The fragrance isn't particularly pleasant. As someone sensitive to smells, I find it reminiscent of dish soap. While this is likely due to the focus on beneficial ingredients rather than fragrance, those who prioritize scent might want to avoid this product. It's close to unscented, but using it on the face might be uncomfortable for some. 2. Pump Return Speed As someone who likes to use a rich lather and typically pumps twice, I find the slow return of the pump a bit frustrating.
TipI have sensitive skin prone to blemishes when products don't suit me, but I used this for evening cleansing for two weeks without any issues. Given the current concerns with fine dust and mask friction irritating our skin, it's crucial to care for the skin barrier. This product would be great for those with oily or combination skin who prioritize ingredients over fragrance. (However, I still recommend checking for any ingredients you might be sensitive to!) With its generous volume and good lather, it might even be suitable for those dealing with maskne or other skin troubles!

As someone with sensitive and dry skin - the worst skin type - I always prioritize ingredients when choosing skincare products. I was pleased to see that this product is composed of all-around great ingredients. 2. The packaging. I like that the pump can be locked by turning it to the left and unlocked by turning it to the right. While some might find this feature unnecessary, I personally appreciate it. 3. Low pH foam cleanser that also protects against yellow dust and fine dust. The benefits of low pH cleansers are well-known, so I won't go into detail here. It's definitely a good product for skin health! It's particularly suitable for use in these times of severe air pollution. After all, thorough cleansing is key to maintaining clear skin! (However, being low pH, it might not be sufficient for deep cleansing, so it's better used as a second cleanser on days when you wear makeup.)
Cons1. A foam net is essential for rich lather (con + tip). This gel-type foam cleanser can be a bit wasteful if you try to lather it in your hands. You might lose about a third of the product as it runs off, or it might not lather well. While it does lather better than some other cleansers and it's infinitely better than products with artificial foaming agents, using it with bare hands can lead to significant waste. A foam net would make it much more efficient to use! 2. Despite claims of being suitable for acne-prone skin and controlling sebum, the effects are minimal... I've been using it consistently as I've been experiencing skin blemishes lately, but I'm not really feeling the 'deep cleansing' effect that the product emphasizes. It might be because I've only used it for 9 days, but if you're looking to calm troubled skin, I can only say... well, I'm not sure.
TipI've mentioned it above (hint: foam net)

After searching for solutions, I came across the Real Barrier Cleansing Foam. - Texture It's a transparent gel type. Pumping 1-2 times into your hand and rubbing creates a lather. The foam isn't extremely rich, but rather just right. - Experience After about two weeks of use, I noticed that the small bumps that used to cover my skin had significantly reduced. I think consistent use would yield good results. Post-cleanse, instead of feeling tight and squeaky clean, my skin feels gently refreshed. It worked well for my combination dehydrated skin. - Cleansing effectiveness I typically do a double cleanse, starting with cleansing water or oil, followed by a foam cleanser. So I don't focus too much on the cleansing power. - Packaging I appreciated the pump dispenser, which makes it convenient to use and seems more hygienic. ✔️ Overall, this cleansing foam seems to suit my sensitive, combination dehydrated skin that's prone to blemishes. After finishing this product from The Hwahae Testers, I'm considering purchasing it myself.
Cons✔️ If you're looking for a squeaky-clean finish or extremely rich lather, you might find this product slightly disappointing.
