My skin tone is 21 Light with cool undertones. I've been on the hunt for cool-toned eyeshadows, and I finally found them! Since I have hooded eyelids, I'm not a fan of shimmery shadows, so I was specifically looking for a matte palette. While the colors might not look impressive in photos, they're absolutely stunning in person! The pink shades are perfect for light cool-toned summer looks. Plus, the price is quite reasonable compared to other 9-pan palettes. The packaging is simple yet beautiful too! I've never seen eyeshadows with such extreme excess powder... When you tap the brush once after picking up color, it just disappears into thin air. The pigmentation and staying power are incredibly weak. It applies incredibly smoothly! The color itself isn't too flashy, so even if you apply a lot, it doesn't make your eyes look overly red like other eyeshadows. It gives a very natural look. The eyeshadow colors in this palette have a strong cool undertone, making them perfect for those with cool complexions! As someone with monolids, using reddish tones can easily make my eyes look puffy, but applying these shades in the right amount creates an absolutely stunning look. There's not really anything to complain about, but if I had to pick something, I'd say there's a bit of excess powder fallout. The glitter has a slight gel-like feel, but it's not hard or chunky! The texture was pleasant, and the colors are pretty! The pigmentation was decent. The shades are slightly different from each other, and overall, they lean towards pink and brown tones. This makes it a bit challenging to create diverse makeup looks. Except for the bottom two shades, there's a pinkish undertone to most colors. With 9 shades, it's versatile and I love the color selection. The colors have a subtle cohesiveness (that's a compliment!). The shimmer is beautiful. The pigmentation is gorgeous! It's smaller than expected, making it great for on-the-go. I tend to use the top row the most, the second row occasionally, and rarely touch the bottom row. I don't often apply contour, and my complexion and eyes don't suit contouring shades well, so those colors don't get much use. If you're similar to me, you might find it less versatile. There's some fallout with the shimmery shades (they don't adhere as well). This palette works for both everyday looks and more intense makeup! Personally, I think it's reasonably priced, and the colors are so pretty that I use it every time I go out. I love that there are a couple of shades that work well as base colors, and the variety of gradient shades makes it really convenient to use. As someone with a deep undertone who can use both cool and warm tones, I found this palette leaning too heavily towards cool tones, so I didn't reach for it often. If you have a cool complexion, you'll probably find it gorgeous. The glitters are truly beautiful! I bought it from Nature Republic's official store, but received a defective product with matte shadows in place of the glitters. I thought maybe it was a new version, but couldn't find any information about a redesign on their website. I contacted them after about 3 weeks (they usually allow exchanges for defects within a month), but was initially told an exchange might not be possible. After they spoke with headquarters, they agreed to an exchange. I waited for the shipping notification, but after a week of silence, I called again. They said it had been overlooked due to a shipping error. In the end, I received the correct product almost a month later. They apologized, but as a customer who was excited to use this palette for my makeup looks, it was quite frustrating. To prevent others from experiencing this, I want to clarify - this palette should have 3 glitters! One white glitter, one pink glitter, and one brown glitter! If something seems off with your product, I recommend calling customer service immediately. If you don't hear back about shipping within 2 days, call again. I didn't realize I could be so passive! As a summer cool tone, I highly recommend this product! It offers various combinations and is perfect for makeup beginners. I think it's the best palette to start with if you're new to makeup. The price is reasonable too. I've had it for almost 8 months now, and I don't regret my purchase at all. The downside is that while it's easy to create combinations suitable for beginners, these combinations might be a bit simple. More experienced makeup enthusiasts might find it somewhat limiting.
