The toner is colorless. It has a water-like consistency that absorbs well into the skin without feeling sticky or sitting on the surface. Its hydrating properties leave the skin feeling moisturized. When used on reddened or super sensitive skin, it gradually reduces redness and calms irritation, providing a soothing effect that I really appreciated. It applies smoothly without causing irritation and helps refine the skin texture. I typically use it right after cleansing. Being a slightly acidic toner, it helps enhance the absorption of serums or creams applied afterwards, which is a great benefit. When applied before makeup, it prevents the makeup from caking or clumping, resulting in a smoother application. I didn't find any downsides while using the SkinCeuticals Equalizing Toner. It was a completely satisfying product! I found it particularly effective when used as a mask by soaking cotton pads with the toner, especially when my skin was feeling dry or sensitive. Don't forget to apply it to your neck as well! - mo****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
I didn't realize it had exfoliating properties, so I layered it multiple times and felt a tingling sensation... But still, after a few layers, it gives a nice, firm feel to the skin When layered multiple times, it can occasionally cause a slight stinging sensation, which can be uncomfortable I use this before applying my vitamin ampoule! - ko****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 12, 2025
I've been using this product for over 3 years. Even when I try other products, I always come back to this one. It's not too watery, and it gently preps the skin as the first step in my skincare routine. It's perfect for a quick and easy application. While I don't have any major complaints, it can feel a bit heavy for blemish-prone skin during summer. That's why I switch to the lighter blemish version in the warmer months. - wx********Combination SkinWrinkles/ElasticitySep 19, 2024
Well... I can't really think of anything. Hmm, it's quite challenging to fill up the character count! I received this as a gift with my CE Ferulic purchase, and I've never had my skin react so badly to a toner before. My skin usually absorbs products well, but from the moment I applied this, it caused a burning and tingling sensation. The next day, my skin was completely irritated. I suspect the vitamin C and AHA exfoliating ingredients might be responsible. I've heard that pure vitamin C and retinol can be irritating on their own, and shouldn't be used with AHA - there might have been a conflict there. Even when I used this toner alone without any other active products, my skin still reacted badly. Now I'm just using hydrating masks to recover. This is more irritating than expected, so only those with super resilient skin should use it. I'm glad I got it as a free gift, because if I had paid for it, I would have really regretted the purchase. - je*********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 20, 2024
I bought this to use with the CE Ferulic ampoule! It's a gentle, low pH toner that's kind to the skin and feels refreshing! Apart from the price, I'm very satisfied overall! It works great with the CE Ferulic ampoule! To enhance the effectiveness of the CE Ferulic ampoule, apply this toner before the ampoule - it's like killing two birds with one stone! - by********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 14, 2024
Not sticky and smooths out nicely. Feels like it reduces pores. Has a strong fruity scent which I don't like. Doesn't seem to have any notable benefits. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 1, 2018
Since the product itself is in spray form, you can apply it directly to your face without using a cotton pad. It seems like there were some problematic ingredients for my sensitive skin. The redness on my face just won't go away ㅠㅠ - ja****Combination SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2017
It was neither particularly good nor bad. As it was in a mist form, it was convenient to use like a mist. The downside was that the advantages did not stand out significantly compared to the price. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 8, 2016
It's great for sensitive skin:) Clogged pores and acne calm down, and my skin looks better after I wake up. The price is a bit high, and it doesn't seem to be sold widely in Korea.
