Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2021Unlike typical sheet mask essences, this one has a slightly thinner, emulsion-like texture. It took some getting used to at first, but now I'm absolutely loving it! I find it even more hydrating and it absorbs well into my skin. The microfiber sheet is incredibly soft - possibly the softest I've ever used! The scent doesn't quite agree with me, but I still use it because it works so well otherwise. This face mask has incredible adherence. It sticks so well you can do housework while wearing it without any issues! The sheet is super soft, and the essence provides excellent hydration. It absorbs well into the skin too. It's really great! It's definitely a bit heavy for summer use. However, I highly recommend it for those who struggle with makeup not sitting well on their skin in winter! I recommend this for winter use or for those with very dry skin. It's perfect for a skin makeover!

Wow, the luxurious packaging and perfectly adhering sheet mask are impressive! The excellent adherence allows you to wear it for a long time while doing other tasks like cleaning or running errands. It really delivers proper hydration to your skin. It's disappointing that it contains PEG. I have a fear of allergic reactions. The sheet was thin, adhering well to the face. Even while moving around during the mask session, I never felt like it would slip off. As someone who tends to have a warm face, I was pleased that even using the mask at room temperature provided a long-lasting cooling effect. It was also very satisfying that the essence didn't drip down my neck or elsewhere, allowing for a clean and tidy mask experience. When I took out the sheet, it didn't seem sufficiently soaked in essence. Even after applying all the remaining essence, the area around the philtrum was dry when I removed it after 20 minutes. My skin has been quite dry lately, and despite following a daily mask routine, I couldn't really feel much hydration or moisture. Instead, it left my face feeling unpleasantly greasy, which was a bit disappointing. For best results, don't just apply the mask straight out of the package. Skin type Extremely dry skin with severe redness 2. Usage period/Quantity & Number/Price 5 sheets for 28,000 won / 10 sheets for 50,000 won I've been using it since April 2nd, consistently every other day!! 3. Sheet & Texture description Compared to other brands, the sheet is thinner and adheres snugly to the face with excellent adhesion. The essence has a white cream texture. 4. User experience Recently, my skin has been extremely dry, and I've been visiting the dermatologist frequently. Luckily, I won The Hwahae Testers event! On the first day, after cleansing in the evening and doing a simple skincare routine, I immediately applied the mask. As mentioned earlier, it adhered perfectly to my skin and felt very firm. After 15 minutes, I removed the mask and applied the remaining essence to my face again. Then, I gently patted my skin to help it absorb quickly. There wasn't an immediate effect after one use. However, I consistently used it every other day and stored the leftover essence in a separate container to apply morning and night. Gradually, my skin became brighter and more radiant. I believe using it regularly would show even better results. Also, the hydration was excellent! I'm very satisfied and will likely repurchase it in the future. The price point might be a significant concern. Especially for students, it may be too burdensome. There's a generous amount of essence, so I stored the excess in a separate container and applied it before bed. Essence so generous it's overflowing 2. Instant brightening effect 3. No irritation despite sensitive skin 1. While the essence is truly abundant, sometimes it wasn't evenly distributed on the sheet. Make sure to shake the package well up and down before opening to ensure even saturation. 2. It's hard to tell which side is which. With the essence being so plentiful and runny, it doesn't unfold easily in one go. Having to constantly touch it (even with clean hands) is a hygiene concern. 3. The instructions on the back of the mask are too faint to read clearly. I wish it clearly stated what it's good for, its benefits, and ingredients. 4. The price is higher than expected. The effects seem minimal compared to the cost. While there are immediate results after use, they don't last long - but I suppose that's unavoidable with sheet masks? Since it's a brightening product, it's probably best used every 2-3 days rather than daily. The design was pretty, but what I appreciated most was the paper-like texture when opening it. (While the design is attractive, it doesn't scream 'brightening product!' at first glance, so you might not guess its purpose without being told.) • Generous essence amount There was an abundance of essence. I felt like I could fill a small bottle with the leftover essence after each use. It was so plentiful that I could apply the excess to my neck, arms, and legs after masking. I happily imagined my whole body getting brighter, not just my face! • Soft mask sheet! The mask sheet was incredibly soft - not sure if it's cotton or something else, but it felt great. It adhered well to my face, though it wasn't super thin, so I didn't get that 'wow, it's absorbing!' feeling. I patted on extra essence before applying the sheet. (Now that I think about it, why not just use the essence alone?) • Quick absorption? (personal experience) As mentioned, there was plenty of leftover essence for my neck, arms, and legs. Right after application, there was that typical sticky feeling, but it disappeared within 5 minutes. • Polarizing essence scent The essence has a medicinal smell, like ointment. When I first opened it, I wondered if I was about to use a mask or apply medicine. That familiar, subtle ointment scent... While it didn't bother me much once the sheet was on my face, those with sensitive noses might find it distracting. • Blemishes appeared (individual experience) I developed blemishes on my forehead and temples after use. They subsided when I applied a cica ampoule right after masking, but be cautious. (I continued using it with the cica ampoule, hoping for results.) • Results Whether it's because it's a mask or not, I didn't see any dramatic effects. I used it consistently and checked in the mirror, even asked my family, but the changes were subtle. Well, that's understandable for a mask. • Essence quantity The abundance of essence, which I mentioned as a pro, can also be a con. It's great to have a lot, but it's inconvenient to squeeze it out of the face maskaging. If you're after the essence, wouldn't it be better to just buy an essence product instead of masks? • Plenty of essence - enough to apply all over your body, including arms, legs, and neck • The subtle medicinal scent gives you a feeling of treating your skin rather than just pampering it • The luxurious design makes it perfect for gifting, but giving just a mask might feel a bit underwhelming?
