It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft.
ConsI'm not sure about the vitamin C effects. I think I'll need to use it for a bit longer to tell.

It applies so smoothly, feeling like silk on the skin. When you put it on, it's as if your skin gets a protective coating. Fortunately, I love the orange scent, so I didn't mind it at all. To me, there wasn't any particularly artificial fragrance.
ConsWhile it's moisturizing at first, my skin feels tight after a while. This might be more noticeable for me since I have dry skin. I ordered a large quantity intending to use it consistently for three months, and I diligently applied it every night for two months. Although my inconsistent use might be a factor, I didn't see any brightening effects. I won't be repurchasing.
TipI always had to follow up with an emulsion or cream. It works great to apply a couple of layers generously before using a modeling mask.

I've been incredibly stressed because nothing seems to absorb well due to my inflammatory blemishes, but the Balea ampoule appears to have excellent absorption! When applied before bed or makeup, it absorbs smoothly without any stickiness, leaving no discomfort. I used it alongside my regular products and didn't experience any increase in blemishes. In fact, when I woke up, my skin seemed a bit brighter... haha!
ConsSince it's not primarily focused on hydration, after a while, it feels like you haven't applied anything. If you have very dry skin, it might be best to use this along with other hydration-focused products!
TipThe amount seemed quite generous, so I didn't apply it all at once! Just to be safe, I only applied a small amount to areas with blemishes. The rest went on my neck... hehe!

I was lucky enough to be selected as a Hwahae Tester and got to try the Balea product! What I liked: - The individual packaging feels hygienic - It's gentle and absorbs well, gliding smoothly onto the face - Surprisingly, it works better under makeup when applied in the morning rather than evening - While I received this as a Hwahae Tester, at 3900 won for 7 ampoules, it's incredibly cost-effective for a vitamin C product!
ConsWhat could be improved: - Despite being an ampoule, it has an extremely silky finish that makes it feel like it's not fully absorbing. However, this seems to be characteristic of Balea ampoules - For vitamin C products, concentration is crucial, but it's not mentioned anywhere on the packaging. This raises some doubts about whether it contains an adequate amount - While I didn't experience any blemishes, my skin felt a bit suffocated. As the weather gets warmer, I probably won't continue using it regularly
TipThe ampoule alone was a bit drying, so I layered it with the Radiance C cream, which gave a nice, hydrated feel

The application was smooth without being too slippery, and it seemed to absorb well. Just seconds after applying, it felt like it had vanished into my skin. The scent was that distinctive vitamin C aroma - a bit sweet and tangy - which I actually found quite pleasant. I was also impressed by the neat packaging when it arrived, and as you can see in the attached photo, each ampoule contains just the right amount for one use. This made it super convenient to apply without worrying about measuring out the correct quantity.
ConsThe disappointing aspect I experienced while using this product was that my blemishes, which had been almost gone, started to resurface. I incorporated this serum into my usual skincare routine (toner, serum, emulsion/cream, sunscreen), replacing my regular serum. However, after just one day, I noticed tiny bumps appearing on my face. I used it for about 4 days, from March 28th to 31st, and my face broke out terribly. Regrettably, I have a bad habit of squeezing my pimples when they appear. So when I did, the ampoule that was meant to reduce scars actually seemed to cause more scarring. Continuous squeezing led to a compromised skin barrier, and my skin felt constantly irritated. I'm not entirely sure what the issue was, but as someone with acne-prone oily skin, I felt like this product left a slightly oily residue, which might have contributed to the breakouts. The first photo I've attached shows my skin before use, and the second shows it after. The situation got so bad that I had to stop using it and go back to my original products, which quickly calmed down the angry red pimples and small bumps.
TipI'd strongly recommend checking if this product suits your skin type before using it. For instance, you might want to compare its ingredients with those in your regular products. I didn't do this, and unfortunately ended up with a lot of blemishes, which wasn't a pleasant experience at all.

(The photo below shows the two remaining ampoules before today's application!) First and foremost, what impressed me most was how well it absorbs! I really dislike products that feel like they're sitting on top of my skin. So initially, I was worried because it's an oil, but I was amazed when I applied it. It glides on incredibly smoothly and finishes with a soft, velvety feel. Rather than sitting on the surface, it felt like the ingredients were deeply absorbed into my skin. I shared a bottle with my parents, and they also loved how well it absorbs. Moreover, the fact that this oil-based product didn't cause any breakouts on my super sensitive, combination dehydrated, acne-prone skin is a huge plus! (For reference, I usually avoid oils completely as they tend to cause breakouts, and I'm very cautious with products containing oil ingredients.) In my usual routine, I apply toner, ampoule, and moisturizer before bed. Previously, when I applied moisturizer after my regular ampoule, it felt like I was just layering it on top. But with this ampoule, when I follow up with moisturizer, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated yet velvety smooth. (This doesn't mean it leaves a dry finish at all.) Lastly, I appreciate that each ampoule is individually packaged, making it hygienic and convenient to use. At first, I thought the amount might be too little, but it turned out to be enough for a generous application!
ConsI did notice two pustular blemishes appear. However, this occasionally happens when I'm not feeling well or tired, so it's hard to say if it's directly related to the product. (I mixed it with my regular ampoule on the first day, but from the second day onwards, I used only this ampoule, replacing my usual one. I kept the rest of my skincare routine the same.) I'm not sure if it's because of this ampoule, but since these blemishes appeared a few days after I started using it, I've deducted one star. If you're sensitive to fragrances, you might not like the scent. I'm quite sensitive to scents myself, and while I initially enjoyed the vitamin-like smell, I grew to dislike it over time. While I can't speak for all skin types, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this product to those with acne-prone skin.
TipWhen opening the ampoule, it's best to cover the tip with your finger as you cut it open. Even with careful opening, it tends to drip out when held. If you have a regular ampoule you're using, mixing it with this one seems to enhance absorption!
