I bought this shampoo for my seborrheic scalp with dandruff, which is dry yet oily. The cleansing effectiveness is amazing! It keeps my scalp oil-free for a good 3 days. The formula is similar to a low pH shampoo - transparent and thin without silicones, but it lathers well. My scalp doesn't itch, and it controls oil production effectively. It creates a rich lather and has a pleasantly subtle fragrance. Though the scent disappears after rinsing, it adds a bit of volume and works much better than styling shampoos. I find myself reaching for it often. Overall, the user experience is perfect - 5 stars, no complaints whatsoever. However... Looking at the ingredients list is shocking. Especially for someone with atopic skin like me, there are potential allergens and harmful ingredients. Still, when I miss the super cleansing power of a shampoo while using low pH ones regularly, I use this occasionally. It leaves my scalp feeling incredibly refreshed! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 16, 2021
The fragrance is subtle... not too strong, and it lathers well. The cleansing effectiveness is a bit disappointing. Sigh, that's the main reason I'm looking to switch shampoos! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2021
The rich lather provides excellent cleansing power. One pump is enough to wash even long hair thoroughly. The fragrance is delightful. The ingredient list is quite overwhelming. It makes me hesitant to use it. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. I'd recommend this for spring and autumn use. It offers just the right amount of hydration and works well for removing fine dust particles. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 3, 2020
The scent is identical to Dove... I absolutely adore the Dove fragrance, so I'm in love with this smell. I had been using mostly natural shampoos, but they were causing a lot of blemishes. I used this without much thought since it was just lying around the house, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how satisfied I am. So far, it hasn't caused any skin issues. It lathers well and the fragrance lasts a long time. After checking on Hwahae, I noticed the ingredients aren't particularly great... And it seems it's not suitable for dry skin types. Highly recommended for those who love the Dove scent! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinAug 25, 2020
I heard this shampoo contains cica ingredients, so I thought it would soothe any scalp issues. To be honest, I can't really tell if it does that. It lathers well and it's just an okay shampoo to use. I don't have much else to say about it, unfortunately. I thought it contained cica ingredients, but it doesn't seem effective, and the scent isn't very pleasant. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 22, 2020
I love that you can pick this up at the supermarket and it's great value for money with a generous amount. It lathers up nicely, and the refreshing mint scent really cools down your scalp. While there aren't any major drawbacks, when I looked at the ingredients list, it's just... okay, I guess. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 21, 2020
I tried this new line and found it lathers well. Overall, it was a decent experience. The scent is quite strong, which might be polarizing for some users. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAug 20, 2020
It has great cleansing effectiveness and lathers well. I think it's suitable for those with oily skin. It also seems to reduce scalp odor a bit. However, looking at the ingredients... I'm wondering why I bought it. Though ingredients aren't everything... Remember, 80% of shampooing is in the rinsing. Make sure to rinse thoroughly! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 25, 2020
It lathers well and is quite affordable. The scent is pleasant too! I used this product because it was advertised as gentle, but after using it, I developed a lot of blemishes along my hairline and forehead. If you have super sensitive skin, I really don't recommend this... The ingredients aren't particularly good either. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 17, 2020
After using mostly natural shampoos like L'Huile and M Factory, I felt my hair was getting too rough, so I started looking into regular shampoos. Compared to natural ones, this lathers up nicely, cleanses thoroughly, yet leaves my hair soft. I have an oily scalp that needs daily washing, but I'm not getting any blemishes. I bought it on sale at E-mart for 2900 won, and it's such good value that I picked up another bottle on my next visit! While Mise-en-Scene makes my hair soft, the fragrance is definitely strong. Maybe because of that scent, my scalp odor seems a bit less noticeable. You can still smell the shampoo in your hair until evening! I used natural shampoos for ages, but my hair still falls out just the same. It makes me think there's no need for overly expensive shampoos. As long as it doesn't cause blemishes, keeps oil at bay, and leaves my hair soft - that's the jackpot! If anything, natural shampoos seemed to cause more scalp buildup.
