It goes on lightly and the color isn't overwhelming, so I think it would be comfortable for everyday use. The hydration doesn't last very long, and if you're looking for color payoff, it seems to have almost none. At least on my lips... Even when applied, the color barely shows up. - gr****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 28, 2025
It absorbs so smoothly, making it easier to apply than traditional pencils The downside is that the color seems slightly lighter than regular lip pencils - ey******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 9, 2025
The case is absolutely gorgeous, and the color applies beautifully with a soft, delicate hue There's practically no staining, and the staying power is close to zero. You need to keep reapplying. For a lip balm, it lacks hydration. The lack of moisture is so noticeable that I initially thought I might have bought a lipstick by mistake. However, the color is pretty, and it's easy to apply casually, so I find myself using it often at work - ne**Dry SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2024
I thought it was just a lipstick, but it's actually a lip balm?! True to its name, it's super moisturizing! The packaging is luxurious and pretty, and I love the feel of opening and closing it. It glides on smoothly, and the color is subtle, giving your lips a natural, healthy-looking flush. It's perfect as a base layer before applying darker tints or lipsticks. The color starts off sheer, but builds up gradually with repeated application. When you don't have time for a full lip tint routine, you can just quickly swipe this on for a lasting hint of color. As the color builds up, it can get a bit dark. It's not quite moisturizing enough to completely replace your regular lip balm. - wa***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedJun 29, 2024
Comfortable feel on the lips Great shade for overlining or as a base Subtle shimmer that's not overwhelming but beautiful Formula isn't too soft Suitable for deep to light undertones Lovely fragrance Color payoff isn't intense Zero staining On the pricey side Not particularly glossy Layer this as a base and top with a deeper color for a stunning look Be careful with storage during summer! - zi********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 9, 2024
I received this as a gift and it turned out to be better than expected. Generally, this type of lip balm has been too dry for my lips, but this product is moisturizing and absorbs well. While the color is subtle enough for everyday use, giving just a hint of a healthy glow, I found it slightly disappointing as it tends to settle into fine lines on my lips after some time. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 1, 2024
It's fairly moisturizing and the color payoff is better than I expected. It might not be suitable for those looking for a lip stain or tint alternative. It just gives a subtle, healthy flush to your lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedMar 28, 2024
Perfect for moisturizing dry lips in winter, it gives a subtle shine that makes your lips look plump and juicy. The color is a natural, healthy-looking shade that suits both warm and cool skin tones, making it ideal for a bare-faced look. I highly recommend this as a daily essential! While it's slightly on the softer side, which is a bit disappointing, this actually contributes to how well it absorbs into the lips. For a fuller lip effect, try applying the NARS Dolce Vita lip balm as a base on bare lips, then layer your favorite tinted lip product on top! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 30, 2024
I bought this hoping for a bit more color than a regular lip balm, and I'm pleased with how it adds just the right amount of vitality to my lips Apart from being a bit pricier than expected, there's really nothing to complain about - ji*********Dry SkinRednessRecommendedJan 13, 2024
The color is beautiful and it's convenient to touch up when you're out. The shade is quite rich, so it's great that you can wear it on its own. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. The only slight drawback is that it's a bit pricey.
