Purchased at full price in-store. Perfect for a basic daily autumn color in chili shade. Color payoff: refer to photo. Product weight: neither heavy nor light. Fits comfortably in one hand, a lightweight product. Could be considered an affordable version of MAC lipstick? The color payoff is decent. Since it's matte, it might be better to apply as a gradient rather than full coverage. Unfortunately, it accentuates dead skin cells... which is disappointing considering my lips aren't particularly dry. The scent... that's an issue that needs to be addressed quickly. The case is too simple, with the 'Tony Moly' lettering being too small. While I know it might pill when applied, I don't think I'll reach for it often. The black case makes the brand logo hard to see. If the click-closure mechanism breaks, the lipstick might not close properly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 23, 2020
The color payoff is truly very similar to MAC Chili. It's a beautiful brick red shade. On the downside, it's quite dry and matte due to its high pigmentation. Exfoliating to remove dead skin cells is essential when using this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 25, 2019
The color payoff is absolutely stunning! It's like a chili pepper red that's moisturizing on the inside and matte on the outside. Unlike other lipsticks that are just matte and really emphasize dead skin cells, this one doesn't do that much at all. If you're sensitive to scents, I'd advise against buying this. The fragrance is very artificial. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2019
I tried this as it's said to be a cheaper alternative to MAC Chili. The color payoff is really pretty! Personally, I usually apply by patting it on, and I loved how the color came out looking natural. The staying power was pretty impressive too! Oh, I'm not sure if it's because the product is on the drier side, but it tends to emphasize dead skin cells and applies a bit patchy. I recommend applying this over lip balm when your lips are moisturized! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 12, 2019
I've bought this lipstick twice from Tony Moly and I must say, the color is absolutely stunning! It's perfect for those who love chili-inspired shades. The matte finish is gorgeous, and both the color payoff and pigmentation are incredible! It's extremely matte, and I'm a bit concerned about the ingredients. I wish the staying power was a bit better. That's something I feel could be improved. Here's a pro tip: Before applying the lipstick, make sure to exfoliate your lips and apply some lip balm or Vaseline. Then, gently wipe it off with a tissue or cotton pad before application. This will help the lipstick go on more smoothly, reduce the appearance of dead skin cells, and enhance the color payoff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 3, 2018
I use the Innisfree #23 foundation! ★ Color payoff It's the glow of all glows! It could easily look dull, but it's actually very clean. The full lip looks pretty, and the gradient effect is beautiful too. It's also great over a light lip color. ★ Staying power The staying power is truly amazing. I apply it in the morning and barely need to touch up. It's so good that even a friend I wasn't on good terms with asked about my lip product! ★ Application Since it has a matte formula, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells. If you apply it over your natural lip color, it can look a bit like it's separating from foundation or BB cream. But I guess that's just how lips are... For those with super dry lips, apply a thick layer of lip balm during your skincare routine before using this product. It looks even prettier if you neutralize your natural lip color first! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 1, 2018
The color payoff is truly excellent! It applies vividly, and the shade selection seems well-curated. Best of all, it's more affordable compared to traditional lipsticks! As a student, I often find products over $10 a bit pricey, but I wholeheartedly recommend this one. It's quite drying. After a while, it tends to fade everywhere except the lip line, and if left on for too long, dead skin cells become noticeable. Even with proper exfoliation, its matte formula seems prone to emphasizing flakiness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 6, 2018
The color payoff is beautiful and it's easy to apply. It also blends well for a nice gradient effect, making it perfect for everyday use. The staying power is weak and it comes off easily. It also tends to accentuate dead skin cells on the lips. Before applying makeup, use a lip mask, lip balm, or ampoule. Then, wipe your lips with a cotton pad or tissue before applying the lipstick. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 1, 2018
The color payoff is true to what you see in the tube. It's a warm-toned brick orange shade. I love how it adheres well to the lips and has a matte finish. This shade seems to complement all complexions beautifully. Great value for money, with a chic case and a gorgeous color. Since this product has a matte finish and applies with a matte texture, I wouldn't recommend it for those with a lot of dead skin cells on their lips. Apart from that, I'm satisfied with it. Because of its matte finish and application, I think the most beautiful way to wear this product is to apply lip balm first, then use a lip brush to create a gradient effect with the lipstick. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 30, 2018
While I don't recall the exact price, it was on the affordable side, and the color payoff was impressive for its cost. The staying power was also decent. Although it didn't cause any blemishes, there was a slight issue with clumping, which was a bit disappointing.
