It moisturizes well and isn't bad at all. I use it regularly before applying makeup. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing. I think I need to use it more to really tell. - th***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2022
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I always prioritize products that balance oil and moisture when choosing skincare. After trying various brands and checking ingredients, I heard great things about Lapothicell's ability to manage dead skin cells and maintain the skin barrier's hydration. So, I decided to give it a try from StyleShare. After much experimentation, I found my skin's ideal routine: a basic toner or mist, a well-absorbing serum, a moisturizer, and sunscreen & base makeup. For the 'moisturizer' step, I prefer a texture that provides hydration and evens skin tone, almost like a primer. With winter approaching, I felt I needed a slightly richer moisturizer to envelop my skin, and Lapothicell seemed perfect for that. Upon receiving it, the product's texture and performance exceeded my expectations. The texture is between a cream and a balm, feeling slightly rich. When applied and massaged, it absorbs smoothly, filling in rough patches and creating a luminous glow. This glow isn't oily, but rather a hydrated radiance. After it settles, my skin feels smooth and looks matte, yet feels deeply moisturized. This hydration lasts all day - I can still feel it when cleansing in the evening. My skin never feels dry, and even after removing makeup, it feels plump and moisturized. The scent is very subtle, reminiscent of a gentle baby fragrance, which I find relaxing and pleasant. I don't have any complaints. Given its balm-like texture, it naturally comes in a jar container. I use a sanitized spatula to apply it. The round jar is cute and lightweight, making it convenient to carry in my makeup pouch. The texture is versatile enough to be used as a primer. On days when I want light makeup, I skip a separate primer and use this as my final skincare step plus primer. I apply a very thin layer all over, gently patting it in to even out my skin texture. Then, I lightly press it in with a puff. This creates a beautiful glow and ensures that my base makeup applies smoothly and lasts longer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2021
It's perfect for my extremely dry skin, except during summer. I've been using it consistently without any issues of pilling when applying sunscreen on top. While it has a nice thick texture, it feels a bit... greasy? So you definitely need to pat it in well to ensure it absorbs properly. - cj*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2021
The hydration is definitely effective, which I love. I'll probably repurchase this. I can't think of any particular downsides... I'm just using it without any issues. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2021
As someone with dry skin, I found this cream amazing. When I apply it before bed, my skin still feels moisturized when I wake up. It's perfect for winter use! Given its balm-like consistency, it might be too heavy for those with oily skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2021
I tried this because my dead skin cells have been out of control lately, and wow, it's so rich! I love how it clings to my face when I spread it with my hands, and it's incredibly hydrating. After just a few days, there's no flaking on my nose, and my makeup applies beautifully. This product seems perfect for those with dry skin, but if you have oily skin, you might find it a bit heavy! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2020
It feels so nice how gently it glides onto dry skin. Despite being a balm-type product, it's not overly rich, so it doesn't feel heavy at all. For those with oily skin, it might feel a bit too heavy.
