Scalp type: Dry skin Hair type: Slightly wavy, dull, and fine. My scalp usually gets greasy after about three days, but due to dryness-induced itching, I wash my hair daily or every other day. No dandruff. The instructions say to apply this product between the scalp sections and massage before shampooing. Following this method, I realized I'd use up a bottle quickly, but after drying, both my scalp and hair feel significantly moisturized. However, it seems to take longer than usual to dry my hair, and after blow-drying, my hair feels slightly oily - as if I've applied essence all over. My hair becomes so soft that it barely tangles anymore. Since this can lead to quick greasiness, I started mixing a nail-sized amount with shampoo, which reduced the greasy feeling. The product contains salt, which is good for dead skin cell removal, and plenty of oil ingredients, which noticeably reduces scalp itching. Despite its great ingredients and significant help for dry, itchy scalps, it seems to be discontinued as it's currently unavailable on the website. I recommend mixing a nail-sized amount with shampoo for use. - dl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinJan 30, 2021
The positive aspect... To be honest, I'm not entirely sure, but I didn't experience any blemishes or issues after using it. I can't really tell what's good about this product. I wonder if it's even necessary to use... Personally, I don't think I'll repurchase it. I thought it might be cooling like a scalp pack, but the particles dissolve as soon as they touch your wet scalp, so there's nothing particularly noteworthy about it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 23, 2020
My honest review after purchasing with my own money! I can't believe no one has reviewed this yet... This shampoo works wonderfully when used together with the Vitabrid Scalp Shampoo. To be honest, it's more of a complementary shampoo that works best when paired with another. It doesn't lather at all! Here are my findings after trying two different methods: 1) Cleansing shampoo -> Scalp shampoo (any other shampoo works too) First, I used a small amount of the cleansing shampoo and massaged it from my hair to my scalp. Since it's a non-foaming product, it felt like I was just applying water and massaging my scalp. But during the 1-minute massage, my fingers glided through my hair like a comb! After rinsing the cleansing shampoo, I felt a bit unsatisfied. So I followed up with the Scalp shampoo I ordered together, and wow - the combination was fantastic! 2) Cleansing shampoo 1 : Scalp shampoo 3 I tried mixing them in a 1:3 ratio to save time, but honestly, I prefer method 1 despite it being more time-consuming! As someone with thick hair using this for blemishes prevention, the non-foaming formula left me feeling less clean. Even though I deliberately washed my scalp by cupping water in the sink, I still felt a bit uneasy until my hair was completely dry.
