It can be used as a substitute for brightening moisturizer. That's how I use it too. In fact, I find it even better than a brightening moisturizer because it doesn't look cakey and has longer-lasting effects.
ConsThe high price is a drawback, but it works so well for me that I can't help but keep using it...

I trust and use Dr. Jart+ products. - Long-lasting When I only apply this sunscreen, it doesn't feel like it's disappearing and lasts for a long time. It holds up well against water and sweat, which is great. - Great with foundation As it has a primer-like function, it pairs well with foundation. I usually wear a matte foundation, and it applies smoothly without any pilling!! - Finish I prefer a matte finish even for sunscreen, and this one has good absorption and isn't sticky. The white cast isn't noticeable, and it even has a slight brightening effect. It's perfect for a no-foundation makeup look!
ConsThe price is a bit high for the amount you get. Aside from the cost, I'd definitely repurchase this sunscreen!

I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin. 1. Staying power I switched from the Inni*** Minimum Sunscreen because it came off too easily. I bought this one for water activities, and its staying power is top-notch! There's no oil explosion that usually happens with sunscreens, which seems to make it last even longer. 2. Oil control I've tried many sunscreens, but this one takes the cake. Many 'oil-control' sunscreens start off matte but turn into an oil slick over time. This one stays truly matte until the end. Usually, I use oil blotting papers twice before leaving work, but with this sunscreen, I didn't need to use them at all! And it's not like those drying mineral sunscreens that make your skin feel tight - it doesn't make your makeup separate either. 3. Primer function At first, I was confused about why 'primer' was in the product name since it only provided slight tone correction. But after using it, I realized it's called a primer because it offers slight tone correction + texture smoothing + sebum control. It works great with makeup too! It feels a bit powdery at first, then becomes matte over time, so if you apply foundation right after the sunscreen, it sets perfectly.
ConsIt's expensive... The price is its biggest drawback. All the new sunscreens from Dr. Jart+ are quite pricey, unfortunately.
TipRemember to shake well before applying.

However, if you use an amount similar to what's recommended for sunscreen, your complexion becomes noticeably radiant. These days, with masks making makeup less appealing, this product is perfect. Just a quick application transforms dull skin into a glowing complexion. The lasting power is impressive too!
ConsWhile it claims to be removable with just a cleansing foam, even after washing my face as usual, there's a lingering sensation on my skin - as if it's not completely clean. I'm unsure about the best cleansing method for this product...

However, this product wasn't thick when applying, and it felt like a lightweight emulsion without any oiliness. When I applied foundation over it, it didn't separate or look patchy - it adhered well to my skin! True to its primer function, it also kept oil at bay over time, which helped my makeup last longer.
ConsThe disappointing aspect is... although it claimed to have a brightening effect, I couldn't notice any when wearing it alone. It looked no different from my bare face. Also, while it's somewhat expected with primer products, I felt my skin becoming increasingly dry as time passed. By evening, my skin felt so tight that in the future, I'll need to ensure a solid base of moisturizer and carefully control the amount I apply.
