This product is perfect for going foundation-free, which I've been doing lately. It provides just the right amount of brightening without feeling greasy, offering a nice balance of hydration and a matte finish. The absorption is quite good for a mineral sunscreen too! I apply this and then set it with powder, which keeps me shine-free all day. It starts off feeling moisturizing and might feel slightly dry over time, but it doesn't bother me much. It's not like it becomes extremely dry or starts cracking!
ConsAlthough it's a sun primer, don't expect it to function like a regular primer. It smooths out the skin texture to some extent, but that's about it. Those with dry skin might find it a bit drying, and it probably won't pair well with matte foundations. Also, the price can be a bit steep if it's not on sale...
TipI have a lot of acne scars, so I was hesitant about going foundation-free. But I found that just evening out my skin tone makes my complexion look much cleaner! If I leave my scars as is, apply this sunscreen, and just conceal my dark circles, my skin looks so much fresher.

It's great that it's free from harmful ingredients and common allergens. I usually avoid potentially irritating ingredients, which can be challenging with sunscreens, but this product worked well for me. It has a subtle primer-like effect, offering slight pore coverage. However, don't expect dramatic tone-up results - it's more of a natural-looking sunscreen. On the plus side, it doesn't cause darkening. The texture is lightweight but has a slight silicone feel, which might feel a bit heavy for some. It's like a powdery-moist sensation. I initially thought it would have a powdery finish, but it's closer to a moisturizing texture - 'matte but moisturized'. This might be an ambiguous texture for some users. Important: Shake well before use! As you can see in the texture photos, there seems to be some separation. I thought it might be due to the hot weather during shipping, but the tester in the Olive Young store didn't have this issue, probably because it was stored upright. Always store it upright or shake before use! It works great under makeup, but it's also sufficient on its own, especially in these mask-wearing times. It doesn't cause dryness or oiliness - in other words, it's a bit of an in-between type. While the ingredients are good, I can't fully recommend it due to its texture, price, and minimal tone-up/primer effect.
ConsThe product's oil separates, and it's not particularly matte, so I'm unsure about its effectiveness as a primer. I haven't been wearing much base makeup lately, so I'll update after using it more.
