Thumbs up! As someone with blemish-prone, oily, and sensitive skin, I've been dealing with a lot of cystic acne and pimples lately, so I've become a frequent user of acne patches. I bought these during an Olive Young sale, and I'm even more satisfied than I expected, which is why I'm leaving this review! 🔍Thickness: They're incredibly thin! I think these might be the thinnest acne patches I've used that are still effective. The matte finish combined with how thin they are makes me reach for them more often. 🔍Adhesion: Even considering my extremely oily skin, these patches stick well to areas with contours and don't fall off easily for an acne patch. They stay put nicely. 🔍Matte finish: Usually, thin acne patches I've seen are glossy, which can be really noticeable when you're wearing makeup. But these are barely visible whether you're wearing makeup or not, so I highly recommend them! 🔍Size: They come in medium and large sizes. Cystic acne spots can be quite big, but the large size covers them well without any issues. The large ones are very generous, and the medium ones are just right for versatile use. I really like the size options! 🔍Soothing effect: After wearing them for about three days, the blemishes completely subsided! This effect is probably similar to most acne patches, rather than being unique to these. 🔍Packaging: I used to pick up acne patches with tweezers or my fingernails, which often left marks and prevented proper adhesion. But these come with an extra sticker that makes them super easy to peel off. I'm really satisfied with this packaging feature - it's one of the reasons they're so discreet! 🔍Price: As a budget-conscious shopper, I don't often splurge on expensive acne patches. I think I got these during an Olive Young sale for around 6,000 won for 90 patches? The value for money is incredible, and I'll definitely keep an eye out for sales to stock up!
ConsWhile there's not much to complain about, the patches are quite thin, so they don't absorb a lot of fluid. When I used them after popping a pustule, they couldn't absorb all the discharge and kept falling off. However, the thinness is also a big advantage, so I'm still using them with this in mind.
TipWhen you get those tiny bumps, try applying a spot treatment first, then gently place an acne patch over it before bed. You'll wake up to find your blemishes significantly calmed down!
