When I apply these to the occasional inflammatory blemishes on my forehead, they calm down without irritation and even help draw out some of the pus. They're so thin that they're barely noticeable when I go out wearing them. They're especially helpful for those tricky blemishes that are hard to squeeze or when you're tempted to touch them. When I squeezed it, only the white sebum came out without irritating my skin. That was great! Closed comedones: To be honest, I didn't see much effect on these. I know patches usually don't work well on this type of acne, but I wanted to try anyway. Recurring pimples: You know, those nasty ones that keep coming back and ooze green or yellow gunk when you squeeze them? I put a patch on one of these on my upper lip area. It was a bit uncomfortable and kept falling off, maybe because of the location. However, it did a great job of drawing out the pus, which was satisfying. This is truly a fantastic product that I tried once and immediately stocked up on. When you have redness and pain but can't touch the area, just apply this patch. I usually leave it on for about 2 days before removing, and by then the inflammation has subsided. If the area is red and touchable, I apply it the same way and remove after 2 days. While some blemishes might still remain, if you apply an ointment like Ecnon every evening after cleansing, it will calm down completely. It's not just the Ecnon that's working - I think there's a synergy between using the patch first and then applying the ointment. It's absolutely wonderful! There's nothing to complain about... Just as a side note, the patch has a matte finish, so when your face gets oily, only the patch area remains matte-looking! Also, I love how incredibly thin they are.
