The texture is smooth rather than thick, which makes it easy to apply without running. It absorbs well, so a little goes a long way. It seems suitable for use, assuming you don't have super sensitive skin. As I have sensitive skin, I usually test products on the back of my hand before applying them to my face. I tried a patch test for 3 days, gently massaging it in and then washing it off. Around the second day, I noticed some blemishes in the test area. I couldn't test it on my face, especially near my nose and philtrum, as those areas are even more sensitive. It visibly calms down red blemishes when applied! That's why I find it particularly useful during seasonal changes when my skin acts up or when I get a couple of spots. I've even mixed it with my moisturizer for a mask-like treatment! The tube packaging is also convenient, allowing you to easily squeeze out the product. It really stings. It's so intense it makes you clench your fists involuntarily. Also, while it's supposed to be usable as a mask, when mixed with a hydrating cream, the texture seems to break apart into little grains. You can apply it before bed and wash it off during your morning cleanse for good results.
