The texture is smooth rather than thick, which makes it easy to apply without running. It absorbs well, so a little goes a long way. It seems suitable for use, assuming you don't have super sensitive skin. As I have sensitive skin, I usually test products on the back of my hand before applying them to my face. I tried a patch test for 3 days, gently massaging it in and then washing it off. Around the second day, I noticed some blemishes in the test area. I couldn't test it on my face, especially near my nose and philtrum, as those areas are even more sensitive. This product might be a bit disappointing for those looking for a completely gentle formula. - ok*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 26, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It visibly calms down red blemishes when applied! That's why I find it particularly useful during seasonal changes when my skin acts up or when I get a couple of spots. I've even mixed it with my moisturizer for a mask-like treatment! The tube packaging is also convenient, allowing you to easily squeeze out the product. It really stings. It's so intense it makes you clench your fists involuntarily. Also, while it's supposed to be usable as a mask, when mixed with a hydrating cream, the texture seems to break apart into little grains. You can apply it before bed and wash it off during your morning cleanse for good results. - de*********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 26, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

At first, I was surprised by how well it absorbed and how it felt like I hadn't applied anything. Later, I discovered it contains sulfur and is meant to be mixed with your regular moisturizer, applied like a pack, and then washed off. If sulfur agrees with your skin, this could work wonders for acne and other blemishes. In my case, I didn't notice any significant soothing effects, but it didn't cause any additional skin issues either. The slight redness I experienced was very temporary. - ql*****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 25, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Simply dab it on blemishes with a cotton swab and wipe off. I applied a tiny amount and it healed quickly. I tried it on both emerging and almost-healed pimples. It worked especially well on newly forming blemishes. My skin is quite fair, so redness from blemishes is very noticeable, and it usually takes a long time to heal, but I felt the healing time was reduced. Due to lack of usage instructions and reviews, I'm unsure if I'm using it correctly. Seeing that only a small amount should be used makes me cautious, wondering if it might irritate the skin. I hope it becomes popular soon so there are more reviews available. - im***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 22, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I have combination skin, and I tend to break out when I use products that don't suit me. I was worried it might be irritating, but when I used it as directed, my blemishes settled down nicely. I apply it with a cotton swab and also mix it with my cream as a soothing mask alternative. Since I'm approaching my period and my skin is prone to breakouts, I plan to use it regularly before my cycle. Some reviews mention it's pricey, but most spot treatments for blemishes cost at least $10-20 for a tiny amount. This one has a generous volume, so it's great for long-term use. The scent is generally pleasant, and I'm really enjoying using it. The only downside is that you need to wash it off or wipe it away after application. - mm*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The instructions say to apply Dermalane Gel for 15 minutes and then wash it off, which is supposed to help with sebum control. While I didn't feel an immediate dramatic reduction in oiliness, I noticed it seemed to speed up the healing process for my blemishes. Though I didn't see major changes in the short term, I'm hopeful about the potential benefits with consistent use. The sulfur smell might be a bit off-putting for some people! When your skin feels super dry, it's recommended to mix it with aloe gel. I've actually tried this method myself, and personally, I find this approach works even better. - ce******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Thinking back, my skin and acne really calmed down while doing home care with that product. This one has almost identical ingredients, so it managed to soothe my troubled skin too! To be honest, I've tried many highly-rated cosmetics, but few actually worked on blemishes. This product has such noticeable effects that I really want to strongly recommend it to anyone dealing with skin troubles! Well, due to its unique scent, it might feel a bit unfamiliar at first! But it's so effective at tackling blemishes that I still highly recommend it! Mix it with your cream and apply generously before bed to combat both blemishes and dryness! I hope many people with combination dehydrated skin will try this method! - an********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 21, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Usage: Every other day After toner, I mix it with my moisturizer Irritation: After applying toner, I mixed it with cream and didn't feel much irritation. However, once when I accidentally fell asleep after applying, I felt a slight tightness. Until your skin adapts, it's best to wash it off well after application. Blemishes: I had some blemishes on my neck and chest area. As I used it, I felt like the inflammation was subsiding. They didn't disappear completely, but felt somewhat hardened? On thinner skin like the jawline, it seemed to extract sebum-like substances. Texture: After a few uses, my face feels softer. I'm quite sensitive but tried this for my blemishes and I'm satisfied! If you adjust the ratio with your moisturizer well and control the application time, it could help with blemishes and oily skin. Though I haven't used it for long, I'm very satisfied so far. If you have sensitive skin like me, using it every other day might be best! The scent is unique, probably due to the sulfur. I was fine with it, but that might be because I fell asleep right after applying. For areas with severe blemishes, I dabbed it on with a cotton swab and just went to sleep. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 21, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It feels great when applying and doesn't have any strange scents. The texture is nice and not sticky. Even after one use, you can see results, so with continued use, it's likely to be very effective. It's a bit disappointing that the instructions aren't written on the product, so you have to look them up. The application process is somewhat complicated, and you need to replenish moisture in between steps, which can be a hassle. It's hard to know exactly how much product is the right amount to use. I recommend applying this before washing your face when you notice blackheads starting to appear. - sh******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedOct 21, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

As I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, I was worried that letting it dry completely might cause more blemishes. So, the first time I used it, I washed it off when it started to feel dry. The next time, I mixed it with a moisturizer in a 7:3 ratio, applied it all over, left it on, and then washed it off. It definitely helps in drawing out sebum! I think with consistent use, the results will be even better. It had a refreshing mint scent that gave a cooling sensation on the skin, which I really enjoyed! Those with sensitive skin should be cautious about using this too frequently, as it might have the opposite effect. If not used correctly, the process of applying and letting it dry could potentially trigger blemishes.
