ProsI was skeptical about the ads, but it really does make your skin look brighter, and surprisingly natural too! I've made it part of my routine to apply this before makeup, rinse it off with water, then apply my base. Even if my makeup wears off later, it's less noticeable. I'm loving it!
While it doesn't spread as smoothly as an emulsion, it does feel softer to apply than a regular sunscreen.
ConsI thought the amount would be generous, and it is, but I bought it for my body... You need to use quite a lot for the brightening effect to show up. I feel like I'll use it up quickly. However, since it's winter now and I'm only applying it to my face and neck, it seems like it'll last a while. I guess in summer I'll use... a lot more?
The scent... I've smelled it somewhere before, but how should I describe it? It's like liquid slime. But after washing it off thoroughly, it's not as noticeable. The smell fades on its own over time, so only those with sensitive noses might need to take note.
As expected, it's difficult to apply to the back of your body... If you don't apply it evenly, your skin can end up looking patchy.
TipDon't try to be frugal by using small amounts. It's better to apply generously and rinse off the excess with water. If you try to apply too much at once, it might feel like it's not spreading well. Just squeeze out a good amount and keep massaging it in layers until it looks natural! When rinsing off, pay extra attention to areas like your eyebrows!
