  Pros

  I've been struggling with so many blemishes lately that I couldn't even wear BB cream, but Dr.G's sunscreen provides just the right amount of brightening and doesn't seem to irritate my skin much.

  As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I must say the adherence is truly excellent, and I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft and powdery.

  Cons

  Perhaps due to my combination dehydrated skin, every time I use this product, I experience what seems like an allergic reaction. My skin becomes itchy, completely irritated, and my blemishes worsen significantly! Moreover, each application leaves my skin feeling extremely tight and dry.

  Pros

  The brightening effect right after application is nice. The color is good too, and it absorbs well... not bad!

  Cons

  It's itchy... and gets worse as time passes. Even when I apply emulsion, it's the same, so I don't think dryness is the issue. I realized this sunscreen wasn't the cause, as I experienced the same problem without it. It seems to be a separate issue.

  Pros

  ✔️ Texture: Not much different from regular sunscreens! It absorbs well into the skin! ✔️ Scent: Just your typical sunscreen scent? I've never thought the smell was odd, it's really quite ordinary! ✔️ Brightening effect: Right after application, it brightens your skin, making your face look a bit fairer, but within about 5 minutes, it adjusts to your natural complexion! It's not overpowering, making it great for daily use! (However, don't expect dramatic brightening effects) ✔️ Sensitivity: I have super sensitive skin and am prone to blemishes (think teenage skin troubles), but I've never experienced any irritation with this sunscreen - it's incredibly gentle!! That's why I've been using it for over 3 years now.

  Cons

  If I had to point out one drawback, and this is probably true for most cosmetics, it's that if you rub your eyes after applying it, the stinging is really painful. Of course, you could just avoid rubbing, but for those who habitually touch their eyes often or frequently rub due to itchiness, it can be really... painful. (To be fair, I suspect this might be similar with other sunscreens too! This is just my personal opinion)

  Since I have to mention something positive, I'll say it has a powdery texture when applied. That's about the only good thing.

  Cons

  Immediate itching upon application. After about a minute, I had a gut feeling something wasn't right. Even though I quickly washed it off with foam cleanser, my skin still turned red. I couldn't use sunscreen for two months due to dermatitis, and I had just managed to calm my super sensitive skin. I thought it was finally time to use sunscreen again, so I bought this after checking the ingredients on Hwahae. I deeply regret this purchase.

  Tip

  The best tip is not to buy it. Those with super sensitive skin should carefully consider before purchasing.

  It leaves my skin feeling so fresh and matte that I didn't even need to use a separate oil control product! I really loved using this during the summer.

  However, it turns out this was the culprit behind my eye allergies. I didn't try the mild version, but all the other products from this line made my eyes incredibly itchy and swollen.
