  Here's my honest review after using more than half of the product: I have a yellow complexion with lots of blemishes and thin, sensitive dry skin. I'm also prone to occasional breakouts, so I prioritize ingredients. This product has good ingredients and absorbs well (it goes on smoother compared to typical brightening moisturizers with SPF). The color didn't look unnatural, and rather than dramatic results, it gently evens skin tone. Overall, it gives a polished look to the skin. The finish feels comfortably matte. If you have deep dryness, make sure to layer your skincare thoroughly underneath. I didn't experience any blemishes from using this product.

  If you have severe deep dryness, you need to layer your skincare products well. Otherwise, your skin may feel tight after some time.

  I'm currently on my third tube of this product! It's perfect for those times when I want to look presentable without full makeup, like when I'm heading to the local café or attending classes. It's a great quick fix when full makeup feels like too much effort. I love how it evens my skin tone and gives me a brightened complexion. The best part is how it leaves my skin feeling fresh and matte, making it ideal for summer use.

  I initially used the Mild (green) version, which was so good that my husband and I shared it. But since he has a darker complexion and wanted to look a bit brighter, we decided to buy the Brightening version. While the green one has a white formula, this product has a slight foundation-like tint. When applied, it provides a basic correction, giving a fresh look! Not only my husband but I'm also very satisfied using it as a base or just with sunscreen when going out bare-faced. It gives a corrected appearance that I'm really happy with. We've been using it for 2 years now, and I've lost count of how many tubes we've gone through.. - Texture: Thin but doesn't run - Application: Absorbs well and doesn't feel greasy - Correction: Unlike BB cream, it doesn't sit on top of the skin. It brightens slightly and blends in well over time It's great for both men and women. If you're okay with a sunscreen that feels a bit more like makeup than a regular sunscreen, I highly recommend it - you'll be very satisfied!

  Feels wonderfully matte! Highly recommended for summer use. Seems to last on the face for a long time! Doesn't pill at all! Naturally evens out the skin tone. Hasn't caused any blemishes so far.

  Cons

  Feels like it doesn't completely come off with just the first cleanse. It's more of a tone-correcting than a brightening moisturizer, so I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for a significant brightening effect. The texture was thicker than expected, making it a bit difficult to spread when applying.

  Tip

  Even if it seems like most of it has come off after the first cleanse, I still recommend doing a second cleanse!

  My skin is combination dehydrated and super sensitive. Dr.G is originally famous for their sunscreens, and I trust their products due to their great ingredients. The brightening moisturizer is particularly good as a base substitute, naturally evening out skin tone for a no-makeup look. It's also convenient that it comes in a small 35ml size, perfect for travel or touch-ups on the go.

  Cons

  There's not much to complain about, but since it provides a bit of coverage, it can transfer slightly onto masks.

  Tip

  For those with extremely dry skin, make sure to apply a generous amount of moisturizer before using this. For those with highly sensitive skin who can't use cushions or foundations freely, you can achieve a more natural bare-faced look by just dabbing a bit of concealer on blemishes or dark spots.

  ✔️ Texture: Not much different from regular sunscreens! It absorbs well into the skin! ✔️ Scent: Just your typical sunscreen scent? I've never thought the smell was odd, it's really quite ordinary! ✔️ Brightening effect: Right after application, it brightens your skin, making your face look a bit fairer, but within about 5 minutes, it adjusts to your natural complexion! It's not overpowering, making it great for daily use! (However, don't expect dramatic brightening effects) ✔️ Sensitivity: I have super sensitive skin and am prone to blemishes (think teenage skin troubles), but I've never experienced any irritation with this sunscreen - it's incredibly gentle!! That's why I've been using it for over 3 years now.

  Cons

  If I had to point out one drawback, and this is probably true for most cosmetics, it's that if you rub your eyes after applying it, the stinging is really painful. Of course, you could just avoid rubbing, but for those who habitually touch their eyes often or frequently rub due to itchiness, it can be really... painful. (To be fair, I suspect this might be similar with other sunscreens too! This is just my personal opinion)
