I wanted to find an affordable concealer with good reviews, and that's how I chose this one. I usually apply concealer on bare skin before foundation. Though it's slightly lighter than my natural skin tone, it's similar to my foundation shade, so adding a layer of foundation over it seems to provide even better coverage. It has a dry feel, so when covering dark circles, it tends to settle into under-eye wrinkles. Although it's called 'Sand', which usually indicates a shade 23, this one seems closer to a 21-22 shade. It's a bit too pale.
